I chose Meetinghouse Village because it is affiliated with the church I participate in. It was very good. I enjoyed the facility. They were very accommodating. I got the tour from the executive director, and he did an excellent job. The apartments were in very good condition. There are choices of one-bedroom or two-bedroom apartments. They come with all the appliances. Also, the facility has a recreational area and an area for games and common gatherings. They also have a woodworking shop. Dining is not provided; it's all independent living. You have your own apartment, but you do your own cooking.

Meetinghouse Village was setup in two areas, the north and south facility. The south is more independent where they have outdoor access and your vehicles are right outside your apartment. We didn't get to view anything because nothing was open. The other one was more of a dormitory type setting where you had to go inside the building and go to your apartment from there, but I didn't get a look at them. You have your own apartment, but you have the security of a community, and the staff was very nice.
