Rivercrest Place

I didn't have an appointment for Rivercrest Place, but I went by there and looked at it, and I really liked it. One of the nurses there took me around and gave me an idea of what it's like. It was clean. It smelled nice. The rooms have their own patios where the family member could smoke on their patio. The rooms were clean. The staff was friendly. The residents I've got to talk to said they loved it there. The staff was very friendly and very informative. She was just really nice. With regard to amenities, they had a gym, but I don't remember about a library there.

Rivercrest was such a blessing for my mother and father it was so nice knowing that they both was loved and taken care of ! Kallie fell in love with my dad and he just loved her.She would go out of her way to be so helpful she would even go check on him him he had to go to rehab and I could always call or text her

The staff is the most important factor to us. They are always kind and helpful. They genuinely like the residents and show it in many ways. Mom was worried when the new activities director came, because she liked Chris, but she really likes the new just as well. We would take Michelle, who seems to do everything, into our family! But I’ve never asked for help from anyone and been dissatisfied with their response. This facility has made Mom’s life exponentially better, and ours so much easier as a by-product. Thanks, folks!

We are going to go with Rivercrest Place for my mother. Physically, it was beautiful. They have a lovely new facility that they just renovated. It was very clean. The other guests seemed very happy. They have a lot of activities. The staff was wonderful. She took us around, showed us the community, and explained their level of care. She was very informative. In the gathering room, they had dominoes set out. They have a lot of tables for different activities, such as bingo and cards. The staff told us that they had arts and crafts. They had music that would come in and periodically a Bible study. We looked at all of the different styles of room. They all are very roomy and have wonderful closet space. We're excited to move my mother in.

I was really well impressed with everything about Rivercrest Place. I liked the fact that it's all on one floor, and every room has an outdoor patio, so you can go outside without having to go down through the hall if you want to. If you drive, you can park right there and come in through your back entrance, so I really liked it. It's just a little bit pricey for me, but considering that they have everything on staff, as far as assistance is concerned, which is a plus, I'm sure it's well worth it. Overall, it's very impressive. The rooms were also very nice. The one-bedroom and studio were all well appointed, and just absolutely beautiful. Closets were enormous, in which I don't have that many clothes, but I still liked them. They furnished it with a microwave and a small refrigerator in each unit, which was nice, and they serve meals so you don't have to cook, but if you want to make something in your room, you can do it. They have an exercise room, a huge activities room, and an equally large dining room. The atmosphere was very, very good. Everyone was happy, satisfied, and just very gracious, and the facilities were immaculate.

We visited Rivercrest Place twice, and my mother visited once. It was very nice. That was my preference, but my mother thought it was too big and didn't want to be walking up and down the halls. The people we talked to were very nice, and the facility was very nice, as well. It was very clean, modern, comfortable, and homelike. We were very impressed. The staff was very outgoing and informative. They answered all my questions and addressed all our needs, but it just didn't work out. The appearance was very nice, inside and out.
