"Diversicare was very clean and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to my dad's needs. He had been in a few facilities and this was definitely his favorite. Even though there was little expectation of him recovering, they provided therapy that met his needs and allowed him to gain some independence. There is no other staff I would want caring for my loved ones."

"My friend had relatives here & they would go on about how great everyone was. The people are so friendly & caring. Nice clean place. Food pretty good too. "

"My brother-in-law is now in Mills Manor (Mills Health and Rehab Center). We were only able to see the outside of the facility because of COVID. This is the second time that he has been there. The staff is very caring. The first time they worked with him, he was able to come along pretty quickly. This time, it's not so quickly. Now, they do weekly meetings and phone meetings to talk about him, which I like, because they tell me how he's progressing or digressing, whatever the case is. The staff is just wonderful there. Back then, they managed to get a weight on him, and he could walk. They really worked with him. However, this time, he is not eating and stuff. It's not that the staff is not working with him, it's just that he doesn't want to do things. The reason that we put him in the Mills Health and Rehab was because we thought that with his dementia, he might remember some of the people there or be familiar with the building itself inside. He does not participate in activities because he's only doing physical therapy and speech therapy."

"We toured The Bungalows at Mayfield. Their personnel were very nice. We met one lady who's a resident there, and they care for her well. For a place like that to have just one room, it would be good for somebody who got rid of everything and just had that as their home. I would not eat in their dining room and put that on the lowest approvals. I can't eat on carpet floors. It did not smell good. The facility was new. It looked like it had just gone in a big circle so that somebody with memory problems wouldn't get too awfully lost before somebody could find them and bring them back to their unit, which was good."

"Generations is the most outstanding facility of care for the aged and disabled that I've encountered thru the past years. As a retired health professional, and a family member who has had a parent and sister who lived in several nursing homes in the area, when Adult Day Services were not available, I am so proud and happy that Day Care Service Centers are becoming available. I can avow to everyone that people are much better off, living in their homes with assistance, attending Day Centers where they can maintain social interaction, and delay deteriorating mental abilities with the organized activities, rather than resort to residency in a nursing home. That more expensive and less favorable route of care can be taken later as a last resort, when the person becomes more seriously debilitated physically and mentally. In the Generations participants, You can see improvement and increased happiness in the people who attend this center. The staff and the attendees interact like a family which everybody benefits from. I advise caregivers to check out this facility if you are looking for help with a family member who needs assistance. "My mother has been a resident since March 2019. I have been very pleased with her care and service and attention to her needs and our family needs, as well. The staff knows her and our family by name. Mother loves every one of them. I am so pleased that we have been blessed to have them!"

"My mom has been there 100 days prior to going in permanently. They do rehab with her and a lot of the nurses walk with her. They catching the ball, singing, coloring, and for the holidays, they made hearts. My mom gets three big meals a day, and they watch her really well at lunchtime. She's very happy there. The food is pretty good and varied. My mom is getting her vegetables and fruit. She can also have ice cream if she wants."

"The employees here are A+. If I ever had to come back here, I wouldn't think twice about it. They are the best there is! You come in sick and you leave well! "

"I have had a lot of experience with this facility, dating back to 1992. In all I have had 3 grandparents have continual stays at the facility with the my grandpa still residing at the facility. Overall it is a okay place to have a family member in my opinion. It is close to all of our family, the people that work their are super nice and the food is good. They are always having little events and encourage all the residents to participate but at the same time they don't force them. Though this places has its problems too. They are completely understaffed at night and on several occasions my granddad fell because he had to go to the bathroom at night and no one could get to him to help. Also the facility stays completely full and match that with the fact they are understaffed makes for a lot of accidents. "
