"My mother-in-law lives in Kings Daughters & Sons Home. It's very clean. It's an older facility, and even though it's not modern and updated a lot, they do around-the-clock care. So for what her financial status is, they take very good care of her. Right now through COVID, they haven't had as many activities that they've had before as far as having an activity director and stuff going on. She's able to go outside and they have the porch. I like that they do all their laundry, they bring her and give her her medicine. So we feel good about that. My mother-in-law loves the food, she says it's very good. She gets three meals a day and she says the food is wonderful. Right now, the problem we're having is that they're understaffed with what's going on across the country. I don't think they offer a whole lot right now."

"Oakmont Manor was clean. It looked nice, and it's got good staff. They had shared rooms and private rooms. They also had really good physical therapy and activities. They go fishing and do crafts. They take them shopping and to get their hair done. The person who toured me around was nice."

"My mother has been a patient of Harbor Healthcare of Ironton since March 2021. Over the course of her time there, my mother has received the upmost care from all of the employees. Every employee that interacts with my mother always strives to make her feel comfortable and cared for. It isn't just medical staff that shows my mother good care and hospitality. It is everyone from the administration team, housekeeping, and the food service employees. Over the course of my mother's time at Harbor Healthcaare, I have always had a great relationship with the employees. They have always been attentive to my concerns as well as my mother's needs. I always feel that I can go to someone with my questions and concerns and I am confident that they will do everything in their power to help my mother or myself. My experience, as well as my mother's experience with Harbor Healthcare has been stellar since day one. We have great respect and a great relationship with all the employees at the facility. I am greatful for each and every employee and their dedication to the well-being of their patients in Ironton. "My experience at Crystal Care of Coal Grove has been fantastic. The staff are nice and involved. I was able to get great rehab services and go home. The food could be improved slightly but they did make things special order for me. I would recommend."

"They administrators were very nice and welcoming but the staff was far from the same. I found that the nurses and aides were unprofessional and knew little about their job duties. I found that my grandfather was not happy during his time in the facility and was upset that he had to be there. I also witnessed an aid rolling a patient very fast down the hallway and then let them go and yelled at them because they were "in the way". I would not recommend this facility to anyone. "

"My mom resided at Grayson’s until she passed. We had her at another facility and decided to move her the Grayson’s after some issues at the other place. It was the best decision we ever made for mom. The personal touches and genuine care at Grayson’s is the best around. There was never a worry or a doubt about mom’s care at Grayson’s. Kevin and Alisha Grayson are simply amazing and the staff truly knew mom and her needs and Kevin made sure of that. We highly recommend Grayson’s Assisted Living over them all. "

"My experience with this assisted living provider was negative. The facility seemed to always be under-staffed. It was very smelly and somewhat dirty. Many times the residents would be pressing their call lights (help button) for several minutes before a nurse would get around to checking on that person. My grandpa developed bed sores during his stay at this facility. "

"I am a volunteer at Golden Living Vanceburg for the past 15 years. Staff here are very friendly and very attentive to the residents. They are care about the residents and the food is good. Special care in activites to make sure all needs are met. I highly recommend Golden Living at Vanceburg if your family has needs. You could never find a better place for your love one. "

"I have a family member that was supposedly only been in short term and then they said another 30 days and now they are trying to keep permanent he is at risk of losing his family home and not be able to pay his bills because of this and the staff or doctors has not updated family as we have ask and he whats to come home"
