Staff - they are well, always willing to help family and residents, prompt, and multiple types of staff including: rehabilitation, nurses, aides, dietary, and administration. There does not seem to be a staffing shortage at this facility like many others that I have seen.Amenities - Pro: Many activities, security systems on the doors, wifi, beauty palorCon: All the rooms are co-habitated and limit space for family visitation.

My mom stayed at Heartland of Riverview. My mother hated it there. It was overcrowded. She felt like she wasn't anything better than a number. It was more like a hospital setting. My mom was recovering from a stroke and she was working on her humerus. However, the staff members were very busy. My mom's meals were brought to her room. Her room was like a hospital room. Physical therapy was all that she did there basically. That's all she was there for. The place was dark and gloomy. They could make it homey and more inviting; they need to clean up the rooms.
