I toured many different facilities in Seneca. Crestview may not be the newest facility but it is the homiest facility. The rooms all have different decor with appropriate lighting. Their outdoor areas are so nice and private. The staff was extremely friendly with my family member and all those that came to visit. The kitchen staff was always accommodating to guests eating and provided drinks for our birthday party we had. I saw another complaint about odor and I was pleasantly surprised that this facility actually smelled nice. So happy we chose this local facility. Feels more like family than a care facility.

My mother is a resident of this care home. She has a private room and can choose to eat with other residents or in private in her room. The home is small with not many residents and it appears there is a lot of individual attention. My mother is of limited mobility and gets the help she needs to get out of bed/chairs and they help with her physical therapy. The biggest complaint my mother has is there are several residents with dementia. That is why she prefers to eat in private so she can avoid some of the more aggressive residents that don't respect her personal space. She lived alone for 20+ years before moving to the care home and isn't used to being "social" on demand. She prefers her needle point, reading and just watching TV without politely answering the same 20 questions 5 times in a row. The facility is kept clean and appears well maintained. The staff is hard working and local to the small town and is well aware they many run into the children or grand children of the residents at any time in the small town.

The administrator is the owner of this cute little nursing home. Love the small town where people care for people and have their best interests at heart. The employees are hard-working and dedicated to their residents and care. You become part of their family.

I wouldn’t put my worst enemy in Crestview. In the first place, you have to go around the side to get in, they didn’t have an automatic door, and I’m in a wheelchair. The place looks dark, and it doesn’t smell good. The staff weren’t all that great, but they were friendly enough. The rooms were bad: they were dark, gloomy-looking, and smelly.
