My dad is in Scenic Manor. I haven't seen a lot of nursing homes, but the ones I have been in were not nearly as good as this one. The nurses and people there are nice. They're positive and seem like they care about the patients. I feel like the patients can do what they need to do because they help them out and get them where they need to go. They help feed my dad because he is blind and they seem to do a good job with it. My mom is there every day, so she sees everything that goes on, and she's never had anything negative to say about anybody. I've also never seen anything that concerned me about the way patients are being treated. I think my dad likes the food too. He eats well there and that's as good of an indication as any. I don't know how old the place is, but everything seems good and well-built. I've also never noticed any lack of cleanliness even when walking by the other rooms.

Everyone was very positive and welcoming. The staff always made sure that my step dad was comfortable. The facilities were very nice and he liked having a window he could see out of. They made sure to get him as much physical therapy as was availabe at the center, so that he could continue to re-build muscle strength. Any time we visited they always asked us if we needed anything and were very prompt about checking on him. They also helped us with some of the paperwork we needed to do to have everything in order, and it was nice to have someone to help us understand what everything was saying. They also told us a bit more about his condition because we didn't know much of anything about it before he got to this facility. I would recommend this place to anyone who needed this type of help for themselves or a loved one.
