"I cannot begin to express how happy we were with the care Stonecroft provided our dad with in his final days. He was never in any pain, he never felt alone or upset. The staff was so good to him and were always willing to accommodate family. They even brought in an extra mattress for when one of us wanted to stay the night with him and offered us drinks/snacks. Nursing was always good with communication and kept us informed of any changes. They sent a lovely arrangement of flowers to the funeral as well and checked in after he passed away to see how we were doing. "

"After my mom had a fall at home and was diagnosed with an infection in the hospital, we didn’t have much time to do extensive research before choosing a rehab facility. Everything happened very fast. From the moment she arrived at Stonecroft, I knew we had made a good decision. They made the entire transition as easy as it could be for us. From the front desk, the administrative staff to the nurses, therapists, and even the activities director—every single person went out of their way to be helpful, compassionate, and patient. The on-site social worker helped coordinate things behind the scenes and assisted with items I didn’t even know I needed help with—including arranging for Mom’s wheelchair through her insurance upon her checkout. Their administrative staff was also kind, caring, and always seemed to anticipate our needs, offering support in several areas. Having an aging parent—especially one who is ill—comes with a multitude of questions and complications, but these amazing people never made me feel rushed or like I was a burden. The nursing staff was consistently cheerful, and each time I spoke with them, I received complete answers. If they didn’t have the answer right away, there was very good follow up. One morning, I popped in for a visit and found my mother sitting at the nurses’ station with them having a lovely chat—it was clear she felt comfortable and confident in their care. I’d also like to highlight the physical therapy team, who had a thorough understanding of my mom’s diagnosis and shared helpful insight about how we might plan the next steps in her care journey. Their consistent input and feedback are just another example of how Stonecroft truly puts people first. And finally, a virtual high-five to their activities director. Although my mom wasn’t a long-term resident, she made a point to learn her name right away and invited her daily to various community events, helping her feel welcomed and included. This has been a very stressful chapter for our family, but Stonecroft truly helped lighten the load. We’re so grateful for their kindness, professionalism, and the way they made my mom feel cared for every day."

"Garden Villa is a nursing home. They have a lockdown unit for Alzheimer's, and they also have a memory care program. The staff is wonderful and are taking very good care of my mom. The rooms are just small but adequate, and they have activities. "

"Meadowood was exceptional. It was very friendly, very family-like, very warm, welcoming, and very active. They served exceptional food, and the dining area looked elegant. The staff who gave me the tour was helpful. I saw residents putting together puzzles, some were playing pool, and some were going shopping. They had an exercise class going on, and there were residents reading books and newspapers. The outdoor areas were very green, very friendly, and very clean, with lots of walkways, ponds with fountains, and benches to sit on."

"We cared most about the apartment aspect of Monroe Place, how big the living space was. They just had a awesome one-bedroom set up and it's right down the street from our house, so location-wise, it's awesome. It was very nice. All of the living spaces and common areas were very nice. It's like a very new building. There's a lot of modern amenities and big bathrooms. We're thinking about sending my grandmother there. We love it. The staff during the tour was great. We worked with Megan specifically. She was great at communicating the entire time, and she answered all of our questions. That was the first place visited, so we had a lot of questions by the time we got there and she's just incredible. They have a courtyard, and they're pet-friendly."

"Physical Therapy is a Joke! Had to search for therapist on a regular basis. Company seems to be about profit instead of care. Meals are lacking in flavor and portions are small. Had to remind staff about showers. Need more activities. Not Properly staffed at all times, night shift consists of 1 nurse and 1 can per 38 residents. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Sorry"

"My dad moved into Golden Living center - Bloomington. I had been there for quite a while and he's been doing well. It's a large, nice, and clean facility. He's in a shared room and the staff has been very helpful. They have a courtyard, a dining area, and the activities vary per interest of each resident. The manager was very knowledgeable and gave a lot of good information about the activities. They allow at least two visitors at a time without any appointment. You just have to wear a mask and do the pre screening, as far as getting your temperature checked and answering COVID questions. I haven't tried the meals myself but I was with him during mealtimes and they were satisfactory."

"I would highly recommend Autumn Hills for a love one. The facility is made for the residents to feel at home, no restrictions as to where they can go inside the facility other than like the kitchen or laundry. I can’t say enough about the staff. They make it easy to leave and go home without worry. They are loving and caring to all residents. They show them the respect they deserve. Always looking for ways to improve, and open for suggestions. It’s clean and safe for the residents. We looked at other facilities and was impressed by the homey feeling we got when we walked into Autumn Hills. We have not been disappointed. "
