I visited the senior housing apartment of Ashton Acres in New Palestine. Everything's furnished, it's part of the cost except for the electricity, and I kind of like that idea. Another thing is it's just across the street from my grocery store, which is a major grocery store, so that's another plus because I may end up having to do without a vehicle because it's too expensive. What I saw was a 2-bedroom apartment. In fact, I'm pretty sure that all apartments there are 2-bedroom ones that have a washer and dryer already in them. They also have a walk-in type of shower. You don't have to step up over a tub, and I like that. It has an elevator, which I also like because I don't do stairs too well. They had meeting rooms, game rooms, and different things where you could interact with the other people living there. The person who gave the tour was very good. She was very nice and very informative. She had the answers to every question that I had to see if it would fit my particular needs. She knew what she was doing. The place was really nice. They had an outdoor patio that you could actually have friends and other tenants over.
