My mom is in Mulberry Health doing rehab, and it's been excellent. She's taken care of very well. It's very clean, and the rooms are enormously nice. They have a beauty shop too. She brags about the food, which is something I've never heard of until now. She has therapy twice a day, and they work really hard with her. It's been very good.

I did an in-person tour at Mulberry Health. It's a nursing home, and it seemed good. They were also very friendly and would have accommodated my mom well. What I liked the most were the rooms; they were very nice. She could have had a private room there. I was impressed that they had kitchenettes in many of the rooms. The lady there was very helpful. She had been there a long time and knew a lot about the amenities. The place had very nice landscaping. The hallways were very clean, the room I saw was clean, and the activity rooms were clean. I was just impressed by the cleanliness. It was easily accessible from Lafayette, although it's a few miles out. It's on the edge of town in a small town, so the feel is more rural than urban.

My husband is moving to Mulberry Health. I think it's a nice place. He was in their daycare and we enjoyed it. Mulberry is our home. We've had many friends and family there, so it was the most logical place for him to go. They have a two-bedroom, which includes a TV and a recliner. The living atmosphere is very good. They have all kinds of gardens and they have solariums at the end of their buildings where the residents can sit and look outside. They have an activities director. I already know what the activities are because he was up there in their daycare. They have music, readings, games, and all kinds of stuff, particularly in his area. They have other areas too. He's going to be in the memory unit and that's a lockdown area. They are their own community by themselves. The food was made up every time he went. They always made sure he was there and had his meals. I was up there with him during lunch and the food has always been very, very good. They have a good variety. Every day they have two entrees and then they have all kinds of sides and vegetables. They roll it in a big cart and it comes right straight out of the kitchen. The staff is an A+. He's going there because I know the staff in his area. I used to know the workers, the nurses, and the aides that worked with him.

My mother stayed at Mulberry Community Health Services for a while for rehab right out of the hospital. He stayed there for 20 days. It's a real nice facility. The staff was well mannered, real nice, and friendly. However, she said by the time she got the food, it was cold. She just had physical therapy there, but they had puzzles and a game room too.

My brother has been at Mulberry Health for three weeks now. They treat him very good, and he is getting along well there. They take good care of him, they got plenty of rooms there, and my brother is in a two bed room. The staff is very patient and nice to the patients, and I am happy with the way they take care of my brother. The food looks OK with me, and I am happy with their service.

My parents have been living for four years in Mullberry. It’s close and there are people who’ve been there a number of years. They’ve got several different facilities there, they have cottages, they also have a shared facility in apartment style rooms with cable and furnished nicely. They have a nice cafeteria area and game rooms. They have games and puzzles, musical concerts, exercise rooms and gardening outside.
