My great grandmother was in an assisted living facility for several years and I visited her many times during that period. The staff was very courteous and attentive. They took the time to get to know each and every person in the facility and attempted to suit daily activities to each person's needs as well as their likes and dislikes in order to provide a more comfortable experience. The d̩cor in the facility was drab and dull. The walls were off white and the rest of the place was brown which lead to a very boring effect. I thought the facility and its members would benefit from having more color and livelihood, perhaps more plants. The amenities provided for each person was excellent. Members were able to receive cable television in their rooms, if they so desired. Also, the facility had weekly games/activities for people to participate in, if they could. Most importantly, all members were receiving the proper level of care and medication necessary for them. Overall, my impression of this facility was quite good. The staff was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, which lead to a pleasant experience for me and for the facility's members.
