Shannon Reserve 55+ Apartments

I visited the Shannon Reserve 55+ Apartments in Union City. The place is new, so everything is in order. I like the layout and the spacious hallways because you didn't feel like you're in a hotel or something. The staff was also kind. What I didn't like was the exterior leading up to it because there's a hotel or a motel on the corner or across the street, but it is not something they could actually do anything about. Other than that, I like the building. I like that they have a two-bedroom apartment with one and a half baths. I like it because the layout's really nice. It was clean, and it didn't really feel like an apartment. You could actually buy the things that you wanted and decorate the way you want, which is nice. It would have been a 10 on my list, but after visiting the street itself, I labeled it a 6. In other words, I can't go outside to walk, and it was important to me to be able to go out, get some sunshine, and feel safe. It's also new, so there's not a lot going on inside in terms of activities. I can see the potential, though, because I plan to be a Bible study facilitator. They showed me all the amenities, and that was good. All the 1-bedroom apartments were taken, so I began to consider a 2-bedroom one, but I thought it was kind of expensive for my budget right now. The person who gave the tour was fine. She showed me everything they had and gave me the respect to observe it on my own. The place is also nice and clean.
