Mount Vernon Towers was right near our house. We had friends of the family who went there and they were pleased with the place, and they passed away there, a couple of them that we knew well. I was impressed with one of the halls that we walked through with all of this beautiful art that was done by the residents. They're right next door to a counseling center that's supposed to be good. It's not part of Mount Vernon Towers, but it's within walking distance. The facility of Mount Vernon Towers just didn't have all the programs and all that kind of stuff, but that was perfectly acceptable. They had a nice dining room and good menus. I heard that the food there was good, too. The facility was very clean and well-kept.
