The Atwater at Nocatee was very nice. I liked the area it is in. It's in a beautiful area. They've got a lot of activities that I like, like the exercise room. They also play games. It's a nice facility. It's homey. The food was OK. The lady I talked to was very nice, telling me about the facility, and so forth. They have a swimming area and all of the nice things that senior citizens would enjoy. It was just too expensive for me. I couldn't afford it.

I love The Atwater at Nocatee. They had a lot of activities. Everybody was friendly. And it was clean. They took me to all different kinds of apartments. If I could have, I would have moved in the next day, but I can't. That's how much I loved it. I really, really liked that one. Regarding the staff, they're extremely friendly, and they answered all my questions. They really made you feel at home. They gave me some wonderful banana bread to bring home. The food was good. I thought the structure of the building and the cleanliness was excellent. They had a swimming pool. They had a calendar full of activities.

I liked everything about The Atwater at Nocatee. They have a beautiful facility. The pool area is just gorgeous. The amenities that they include are really great. There was nothing that I didn't like. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. There wasn't one question I asked her that she didn't know the answer to. It was really a pleasure. They have very nice, good-sized apartments. Even the one-bedrooms were good-sized and the layout was open and I could see my furniture in that space.

My daughter and I went to see The Atwater at Nocatee. It was very nice. I liked it very much. They were very accommodating and did a very nice job. I couldn't find it at first because we didn't know that Nocatee is an entire development, like the villages, except on a smaller scale. So we didn't know that. And so we couldn't find it. And then we looked at Nocatee and we went to the Welcome Center, and that's how we found it. They have one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments.

When we first moved in a couple years ago the place was well maintained, and the activities were good. Since the sale of Atwater to a new owner, a new management company was hired, and things have gone downhill. Currently , there is no longer a dedicated activity manager and a much reduced budget for activities. The activities are infrequent and mostly aren't really activities but just things that don't cost the company any any money to have, like food trucks pulling up for dinner. The landscaping which used to be perfect is now degrading. The pool bottom is dirty with debri and they don't even have a pool maintence contract in place, so the chemicals are off. The management company has fired most everybody that worked here, but we are still waiting for competent replacements. They keep promissing the tenants that things will improve, but it has gotten worse. Many of our friends have left to go elsewhere, but we have stayed because we like our apartment, and it is disruptive to move, but if things are not turned around by July we will also move.

The Atwater at Nocatee was clean. It's very accessible. You have resources where you can use the golf cart if necessary. They have a good dog area. I have a puppy, so that was good. It was accommodating. It was nice. The staff member during the tour was very helpful, polite, professional, and patient, because I'm 76 years old. He didn't rush me. There wasn't a lot of food, because it wasn't lunchtime or dinnertime, but they had coffee available, other drinks, and some hors d'oeuvres. The dining area was bright, big, well kept, it looked nice, and it was comfortable.

The Atwater at Nocatee was very upscale. The appointments and the facilities were pretty much topnotch. They're rated as luxury apartments. The staff who accommodated us was very informative. She was very surprised we were there. Apparently, nobody had informed them that we were coming, but she was very gracious, and she showed us around. They had a great activity room, and they had a room for exercise. The gym was excellent. It's the best one that we saw. It was large and had all new equipment. They were truly apartment rentals, and they provided no senior services.
