The SUN (Senior Umbrella Network) Program provides an endless array of programs to enhance the active, senior lifestyle. Whether it’s relaxing poolside, participating in instructor-led fitness classes, taking a bus trip to one of SW Florida’s great restaurants or attractions, or assembling a puzzle in our Game Room…there is never a dull moment at Diamond Oaks Village!
Our Happy Hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays where you’ll BYOB or sip one of our “Specialty Drinks,” and share fun and lively conversation with other residents while listening to live music. The Media Room offers comfortable seating while enjoying a featured selection of great movies. Freshly popped popcorn, a delectable candy bar, and good friends guarantee a fun-filled evening.

Our Activities’ Director is always searching for fun excursions, such as the recent Murder Mystery Dinner and show on the Seminole Gulf Railway, walking through the tranquil Naples Botanical Gardens, or a laughter-filled evening at Off the Hook Comedy Club, to name a few. We cannot forget about the fabulous beach trips to Barefoot Beach and Lovers Key to name a few! .

DOV has a shuttle to transport our residents to doctors’ appointments, grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters, and other off-site locations as well as numerous scheduled excursions.
What makes the chef or dining program at Diamond Oaks Village exceptional? What kind of menu can independent living residents expect?
At this time we offer dinner on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The menu is always taste appealing with some of our recent meals being Chicken Cordon Bleu, Grilled Mahi Mahi, and a popular Fish Fry. Our bistro is opened from 11:00 am until 2 pm serving up fresh soups, salads, sandwiches and more! We also have a Sunday brunch once a month with made to order omelette stations and great options.

Our Clubhouse is filled with outstanding state of the art amenities. Outdoor common areas include an inviting and relaxing pool with a hot tub, an expansive patio with gas grills, and Dog Park, Putting Green, Bocce Ball Court in our outdoor areas. Indoors, a Dining Room, Tiki Bar, Bistro, Billiards Room, Hair Salon, Media Room, Game Room, and Exercise Room are always bustling with activity.
What safety features or security measures does Diamond Oaks Village offer to independent living residents?
We have emergency pull cords in every bathroom and bedroom that will have EMS arrive. We have key fobs that will allow only residents access to the apartment buildings and to the clubhouse after hours. We also have automated gates that close after dark.
If Diamond Oaks Village accepts dogs or cats, what indoor/outdoor areas can they enjoy?
Four-legged friends including dogs and cats are welcome, with dog-breed restrictions. Our fenced-in Dog Park has tails wagging! Enjoy Sunday afternoons in the dog park for Dog Yappy Hour!
