"Wildewood Downs is a very clean place. I was very impressed with that. They have large rooms and very good, polite, and professional staff. The private rooms had a lot of closet space. It had a TV, a dresser, a chair and a nightstand. The social worker, whom I toured with, said that I would have the option to bring my own furniture to make my husband feel at home, but the furniture they had was already nice so we chose that. They do recreation by individuals or groups. Even though my husband is bed bound, they say they can put him in one of those little bed bound wheelchairs and bring them out with others if he wishes to, instead of having to do the activities in his room. They had OT, PT, a social worker, a pharmacist, as well as nursing round the clock. The social worker who toured me was excellent, and the facility is just beautiful."

"I guess we are going to be pretty happy with Laurel Crest. We have already moved my parents in and everything seems to be working just fine. The staff has all been there for a very long time. They have a beautiful dining facility. They just seemed to meet everything on the checklist that we needed. They havd a full calendar of activities including shopping trips, visiting speakers, bridge, cards, church, and Bible study. They have a nice beauty salon; plus a lot of varied activities and programs. The food is delicious. The grounds are lovely, the overall feel of this facility is a very uplifting, and very cheerful atmosphere. The residents seemed to have a tight community and genuinely like each other and visit each other. It’s just a very warm and inviting community. "

"I’m an Episcopalian so I’d heard a lot about Still Hopes Episcopal Retirement Community through the years. I’ve had friends whose parents were there, and it has an excellent rating. They have apartments, assisted living, and then long term. They have all the facilities you would want. I did see a room in assisted living; it was adequate. It’s very nice, very well appointed, and it’s attractively decorated. The residents that I know who live there are very happy with it. They are active and go out into the community still. "
