"We moved into Willow Brook Christian Village because I don't get around as easily, and the amenities here let me maneuver around in our twin single quite easily. The community is made up of very friendly people, whether you live in an independent living situation or are part of the major apartments and such. They get together as frequently as you want to. There are so many activities, but it also allows us to maintain all of our friendships and activities in the town itself. We like the services we get. Aside from this place being so well designed and so updated, anytime we need something done, whether it's installing a TV or fixing some furniture or moving furniture up, they're here, and it's part of community service. We have the ability to do our own cooking, which we do mostly. Also, we get a certain amount of our monthly expenditure set aside for dining in the main restaurant, and that food is excellent. It's top-notch preparation of the food. The facilities are excellent. They keep everything up. We are in a spot where our twin single faces a ravine with woods. We were told that it is lush in the spring and summer. So, we're going to be able to enjoy watching a certain level of wildlife, anywhere from lots of birds to deer and other things. So, it's so very relaxing just looking out, and even looking out on some of these warm days, it is just beautiful. They seem to have an amazing number of activities, and we're just starting to take part in some of them. There's something to keep people busy every day. They have a gym and coffee hours. It's great. I can't see how you could get bored if you really want to do something. They're very accommodating and very diverse. It is a lot less expensive to buy into than to buy a house. Our estate will get 75% of that value back after we pass and it moves on. So that's kind of an investment down the road for our kids. The monthly activities, the maintenance and all that good stuff are less than we would have expected. It's well within our budget. This is so much less expensive and so much more inclusive, so I'm very pleased with it. We made the right decision."
