"Our impression of Schowalter Villa so far has been very good. There were very few complaints and my mom's stay there is progressive. My mom is totally dependent and the staff transfers her to the walker. They only have private rooms there, there were no shared rooms. It's a very large community, and they have all kinds of activities for people with Parkinsons to dementia and every illness you could mention. They're the best ones in the area. In terms of the place's layout, they have expanded a lot. They're non-profit so I'm sure that they're just charging what they need to charge."
