"My mom was a resident of Elim Park. It was a pretty nice place, it was clean, well kept up, and friendly. When my parents were in their living quarters they had a lot of friends and people were nice to us when we visited. They had a dining area where they had their meals, they had a church that was in the community, different activities they could do, and different places they could go. We could also eat there, and I thought their food was pretty good. It seemed to me that they raised the prices quite a bit, and I wasn't too happy about that. Some of the residents were not too happy about the upgrades and didn't think they were necessary."

"Covenant Village is very attractive, well-kept, and well-managed. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The highlight for me would be the variety of services. It was a good experience. "

"We like Masonicare at Ashlar Village. My father stayed there for two weeks. It's very organized and very clean. The people are wonderful. Everybody comes up to you and introduces themselves. The nurses and the director knew exactly what was going on. If they didn't, they'd find out. The aides were great. My father had somebody stay with him 24/7 named Sam; he was awesome. They took care of his meds. It was very clean, and it was like a hotel. My father had one bedroom with a bathroom with all these handicap things. He had a little kitchen area combined with the living room, sitting area, and three nice-sized closets. They had a ton of activities; unfortunately, he wasn't well enough to go. They do have a ton of activities every day. They have ice cream sundae days, floaties days, singing, and some entertainment on the weekends."
