The facility is older but decently maintained. The staff is what made this a great experience. My dad was in rehab after a stroke. The speech and physical therapists were persistent with my family member and made the recovery happen. The nursing staff and assistants were attentive and observant. A special thank you to Kolbi who always wears a smile and is ready with a wave to any resident as well as a helping hand.

I have a dear friend who was transferred here after cracking a hip skiing. If the four days he was in the facility, he estimated that he had about 25 MINUTES of actual physical therapy. His pain meds were not delivered in a tmely manner, causing him pain-filled nights with spasms. I would not recommend this facility.

My late mother was a resident at Bear Creek Care Center for about 2 years. Our family was very impressed with the care, attention, and service provided mom. We were recommended to this care center in the first place, and have since recommended it to others. In addition to the care given, the setting location wise is stunning, with a large front court yard and mountain views.

My experience with Bear Creek Center in Morrison was Wonderful. The Gym is very spacious with huge picture windows that you can see Red Rocks ampitheatre from. My room was also spacious and very clean, it had kind of a "lodge" feel to it, with pictures of Bears and Pine trees. The nursing care was excellent and I received what I needed from the discharge planner when I went home. Absolutly no complaints from me and I would return again and would recommend any of my famlies/friends to receive care at Bear Creek

My father-in-law is in a full nursing care facility right now. He is in Bear Creek Center. We didn't choose this place. We just received a call that the nursing home was transferring him there immediately. It is an older facility. You would smell urine throughout that facility. The staff seemed to be a good staff, but they really got ugly with us when we didn't have Medicaid approved yet when we were in the process of getting that approved. So far, I think the staff's work ethic is positive; however, they wanted us to take my father-in-law home. Their social worker on staff though is very good and helpful. With regards to accommodation, my father-in-law is in a shared room. It is a small room for two people. It is not spacious. With regards to activities, they pretty much have the same activities that every nursing home has; however, they don't have a nice facility for them for work out physically. They do have a small physical therapy room, but it seems out of date. I would not recommend this nursing home.

Do not admit yourself or a loved one to this facility. I was here following a double knee replacement. I would wait up to 45 minutes for pain medication. Bathrooms and rooms not cleaned on a daily basis. Sink and tray tables dirty. Bathroom smelled horrible. Had 2 CNAs lie about taking vital signs. On 5th day there I was told facility had run out of ice packs and my knees would no longer be iced. Witnessed staff members discussing the conditions and care of patients in front of other patients.

The people were very nice at Bear Creek Care and Rehabilitation Center, but the buildings are too old and I thought they were sort of dingy. They seemed to be understaffed. I saw some residents sitting outside. I just wasn’t impressed with it.

It was very crowded in Bear Creek Care. It was very tight and too congested. It was an older facility that was needing some attention. Their rooms looked old too. They needed to clean the bathroom because it had an odor to it. It was a facility that wasn't private and they do accept Medicaid. The staff seemed to be nice. The work attitude was okay, but because it was not a private facility, that "attitude" showed too. A couple of their residents kind of hung around in the hall. I wouldn't recommend this facility to others. It didn't seem so good and I wouldn't put my mother there.

I needed 24-hour nursing care and Morrison is out of the city, so its altitude is higher and therefore the climate is cooler. But there just aren't enough staff in Bear Creek. I just suggest that they hire more CNAs. But the residents are friendly and the food is good. I haven't been here very long, and so far I've gone to a painting class, to dance and fitness, to yoga class, and I have attended three of the musical concerts they've had.
