"Greeley Village has both assisted living and memory care, but we just did the assisted living. It's a newer facility, so it's in great shape. It's very pleasing to walk into it. It's a little bigger than the other place, but it's nice. The staff was very welcoming and I could see she's very involved. She knows a lot of the people that are staying in the assisted living. If they needed something while we were on the tour, she was quick to get somebody in there to help them, or she just took care of it herself while she was there. They had a hair salon, barbershop type thing, and they got some exercise areas for the people staying there. It's a well laid out facility. I visited with some people that were coming in to visit a loved one and randomly talked to them, and they were just very, very pleased with the care. They were very happy that their mother was there. That weighs pretty strong."

"I was able to visit and walk through Garden Square at Westlake facility. I saw the layout of the dining area, one of the rooms, and then the outdoors. They had a courtyard, and the rooms had a refrigerator and microwave. The staff that I met were great. They were friendly, and welcoming, and answered all the questions that I had."

"We toured Brookdale Greeley. The only reason we didn't suggest it to my mother is because it was more expensive. We ate a meal there, and it was very good. The taste was very good. The salad was kind of different than I had before, but it was very good. The facility was very clean and very modern. It's excellent. There are a lot of different ways. The dining area was very nice. The rooms were great. You could get a studio or a one-bedroom. They were all very spacious. The staff was very helpful."

"I visited The Lodge at Greeley. It's a five because of the staff ratio per patient. The people there seemed very happy and very active. They've got a great menu in the kitchen. There's a lot of interaction among the staff and the clients. It's very clean and very organized. I did see some of the plates and dishes that were being served, and they looked very good. I asked a couple of the residents and they said it was delicious."

Gardens Care Senior Living - Memorial Park is a great senior living community that can house both Assisted Living (open now) and Memory Care (opening soon) on one beautiful property with 3 unique homes. Each home can house up to 16 residents and this is instrumental for our residents to receive exceptionally personalized care. Our passion for activities is a large reason our seniors have a sense of community and inclusivity. We offer a minimum of 4 activities per day and dedicate a caregiver full-time to activities, this helps our residents come out of their shells and grow relationships with both our caregivers and other residents. Despite being a residential assisted living home, our staff is awake 24 hours a day, our overnight caregivers focus primarily on preparing the meals for the day. This gives our daytime caregivers the freedom to leave the kitchen and tend to our resident's needs. Lastly, we pride ourselves in our all-inclusive pricing. We don't believe in hidden costs or additional costs to the family due to a higher than normal level of care month. Therefore, the price you agree to is the price you'll pay and this includes outings, haircuts, activities, manicures, pedicures and many more amenities. "Sunny Side living under the direction of Karen has been an incredible blessing to my family. Karen is a very loving and caring person and her concern for the well being of her residents is clearly seen in how well she and all of her family and staff take care of the residents. It is very obvious to see that the staff are inspired by Karen’s leadership and they step up to the task very well. Both my father and Mother moved into Sunny Side. My Father passed away after a few months but my mother continued on as a resident for 2 years before passing away. During these 2 years my family was able to see the incredible level of care provided to my parents and Karen took extraordinary steps to accommodate the needs of my mother and other residents as well. As my mom’s condition and needs changed, Karen would work together with family members to discuss ideas for helping my mom and she listened to family as we presented ideas based on our knowledge of our mom. We were all able to work together as a team knowing we all wanted what was best for my mother. As my mother’s condition declined, Karen and the staff adapted to her needs. Karen and staff took special care to bathe my mom even when it wasn’t easy or convenient. Karen was always looking for ways to make my mother’s situation as good as it can be given the added challenges. Karen made extraordinary efforts to keep my mom from being bedridden knowing that she was a very social person and needed to be with the other people in the house. The extra care was challenging for the staff but Karen knew it was important to my mom and she made it work. Karen and Sunny Side staff would make extra efforts to take my mom and another resident out for walks in the neighborhood when conditions allowed knowing that the outing was therapeutic for them. They would frequently take the residents out onto a deck to enjoy sunshine and a beautiful view of the mountains. The residents thoroughly enjoyed it. Sunny Side living blessed my father by taking him and our family through end of life through a home hospice program and they have done the same thing with other residents as well. Karen her family & staff treated the dying residents with respect and dignity. With the passing of both of my parents, Sunny Side blessed my family with love, support and compassion through a difficult time. Sunny Side is always very clean and very well maintained and there is a focus on cleanliness at the house. The rooms are spacious and there is an abundance of natural lighting that adds to a warm and comfortable feeling in the house. Meals are great and there were times when I was envious of the meals my mother had because they were so good. Karen would spend time with my mom in studying the Bible and having special teaching programs on the TV. When conditions allowed for it, Karen would take my mom to a creative writing class because Karen knew my mom really enjoyed the class and the outing. Wednesdays were a special day when several women friends would visit Sunny Side to have an afternoon of playing games and extra effort was made to include the residents in the game time. My family is profoundly grateful for the way Karen and Sunny Side blessed my parents with such great and loving care and we are so thankful that my parents were able to live out their last days in such an amazing home."

"We visited Bethesda Gardens Loveland and toured the memory care for my parents. We noticed that they have a lot of interactive activities to do. As they age, and if they do have a slight memory problem, the activities keep them active that way, so I appreciate that they have a lot of things going on there. The facility was very high-end and very clean, and because it was newer, it had that much going for it. I wouldn't expect something as new as they are to be run down at this point. It looked like everything was good, and if there was a scuff somewhere or a spot on the floor, it would have been taken care of. It's very open, very relaxing, too. The staff who helped us with the tour was very good and very friendly."

"We love MorningStar Assisted Living & Memory Care of Fort Collins. In fact, we're working on something with them to place my mom in. We like the appearance and the staff. Everything about it was very inviting. The building was very clean, too. I can't say enough good things about it. I like them a lot. The size of the rooms is more than I expected, and they're a very good layout, too."

"They have a wonderful plan at Brookdale Fort Collins. They intergrate people rather than dump them in where they don’t know anything. They’re very hands-on, very caring, and keep them involved. The other place where my mom was would do nothing, and she wouldn’t go to any activities. At this place, my mom is participating. "

"I toured Collinwood Assisted Living and Memory Care. The community is wonderful, and the staff is wonderful. The room is over spacious compared to other stuff I've seen. It was pretty clean. It was pretty nice and well decorated. The dining area was fine. It was great, and they have a garden. The residents would come and talk to us, and they're pretty excited about the calendar. A lady was talking to us and was pretty excited about the walking club. They had an ample parking area."

"My parents will be moving into Brookdale Fort Collins Assisted Living. They're going to assess them to determine if they're going to go into assisted living or the bridges program. We had planned on putting them into the memory care system, but after they read my dad's assessment, they figured they probably could go either into assisted living or the bridges, which is halfway between. We saw both the dining room in the assisted living, and we liked the fact that they had the main meal and they're able to order a la carte in case they don't like what they were serving. The staff goes around and takes their order, and then they go back to the kitchen and bring out their food. It's more like a restaurant-type situation, which I know my parents will like. What we saw looked very appetizing. We liked the fact that, in either the assisted living and/or the bridge program, they have a kitchen-type area where they have a little refrigerator and microwave. They can go down to the dining hall and have breakfast down there, or they can stay in their room and have coffee and cereal however they want to do it. They encourage them to go down and have breakfast with everyone. It was just clean, very presentable, and it wasn't crowded. My parents would be able to get around with their walkers. It just looks like a nice restaurant. They have walking clubs, drawing art programs, and exercise programs. They have had something almost every 2 hours in both memory care and assisted living. Each program had an activities director, so it wasn't a dual thing, they each had a program director. We went in there at 2:00 in the afternoon, so they were all done eating. But the refreshment bar looked nice and very appetizing. Those rooms that we got to see, were in the process of replacing the carpet, painting the walls, and redoing the trim. We've got to see the rooms that people were moving out of. Whichever facility they had to go into, the assisted living or bridge program, it was going to be nice rooms."

"We have the most caring and wonderful Manager. Grace works so hard to keep all residents happy. These are low income 480 sq foot apartments. The living space is fine although the kitchens are very small. The outside areas are kept clean and well maintained. The interiors are also kept clean and well organized. My only complaint is I wish we had washers and dryers inside each apartment. Each building has 2 washers and dryers on the second floors. "

"Kenton Manor has a proactive Administrator who try's to accommodate his residence with their requests by the resident & families. John has been a great help to my family. His communication with me personal has been wonderful. He tries to make things funny and happy. He did an outstanding job trying to keep Kenton Manor safe during the pandemic. A big THANK YOU to John and his wonderful staff during these difficult times. Kenton Manor is a friendly residence. Staff is always trying to help. Rooms- need more furniture that can help residence in wheelchairs. Maybe paint the walls a color that is more cheerful. Transportation- During the Covid time no one was allowed out, now that the residence can leave maybe it would be nice to have a company that would give rides to their residence to locations so they can get out."
