I went to FountainGlen Laguna Niguel. They do not include meals, so you're on your own as far as cooking and doing everything yourself. We're pretty active seniors, so we really don't need all the amenities that the other place has as far as the food goes and everything. I like to cook myself. The place looked very nice and upgraded. It felt like I could live there. It's a very nice area. Laguna Niguel itself is very nice, and it's close to the ocean. You get ocean breeze coming in and it's the privacy that really impressed me. It's in a residential area, but it's all by itself in a cul-de-sac, so that makes it very desirable. It's absolutely clean and well kept.

We visited Fountainglen Laguna Niguel but I didn't care for it. Smoking is allowed in the apartments. So when you're walking down the hallway, smoke wafts underneath the door into the hallway. They have fewer activities than the other places we have toured. Another thing we didn't like was the rent seems to fluctuate from week to week. One week it's one amount, then the next week for the same apartment, it has gone up by $300. They have nice common areas that were recently renovated, they also have a nice pool area.
