"I went to look at Brookdale McPherson. The staff members were really friendly and attentive. They did a good job and explained everything. I was happy with the way I was treated. The rooms were nice, but they were a little smaller than what I was looking for. They have the standard amenities there. It's a small community. You can find your way around and get to know people."

"My uncle moved into Pleasant View Home. The staff was helpful after we got the appointment time rearranged. They said they didn't do visits on weekends, so once we got the arrangement it was fine. It was clean. The room was a little small, but it seemed to be clean and they were taking COVID precautions, so they were doing well that way. The food is OK, except sometimes he didn't get it on time, he maybe got it later. This is what my family told me. It was a good value for your money."

"I was impressed with the whole facility. They have nice big rooms which the workers keep clean & it all has a pleasant smell which many homes do not. All the staff were friendly & very helpful. When Covid hit and I was not allowed to go into my husband's room the staff made it possible to talk to him via speakers on either side of the window. My husband enjoyed the meals they prepared. He was not one that would take part in activities other than the church services. I feel like this facility is real well named. It really is 'Pleasent Hills'."

"We checked my Mother into Dillon Living Center for hopefully a short stay, as she is 95 yrs old and recently had a small fall. She is there for physical and occupational therepy. This is a very nice facility and very clean, as they are remodeling some of the rooms, which she was fortunate enough to get one of the new rooms. The staff that came to help her and do her paperwork were so nice and helpful, she really enjoyed visiting with them. I can only hope that for the time my Mother has to spend there that everyone stays as they were for her check in, and from what I observed I am sure that she will get the care and treatment that she deserves. "

"Reflection Living of Hutchinson's Bloom House was very clean and a fairly new facility. I think it's been built within the last two or three years. The rooms are clean and a nice size. They're private rooms with private bathrooms. The residents that were there when I toured seemed to be in very good care, and they were all very clean. The one that gave me the tour was very informative and gave me all the information I needed. The staff members that were working at the time that I was there seemed very happy with their jobs, and they were interacting with the other residents. The dining area was very nice and very clean."

"Back in April I visited this facility with a friend. The rooms are clean. I have never walked into a retirement home and had a place smell so clean. The atmosphere of it was clean and welcoming. It did not "smell" like a nursing home. Did not look like a nursing home, and did not feel like a nursing home. I talked to a laundry staff about my family members clothing and what would be the process. She was very courteous and answered my questions even though she was putting away clothes at the time. They obviously have great people working there. The only complaint was one of the nurse aide seemed too busy to be bothered with me. She was sitting a little table. Other than that all the staff was great and the food looked and smelled delicious. "
