"My husband was at Russellville Rehab and Nursing Home. The staff was wonderful, but the one thing I didn’t like about this facility was that there weren't any private rooms. My husband was very lucky in that he didn’t have anyone in the room with him until a couple of days before he left. The meal was OK and what I would expect in a nursing home. My husband couldn’t participate in anything, but there was something on the activities calendar every day, like bingo and bean bag toss. Overall, the atmosphere was good and better than the other facility I visited. "

"My mom will be moving to The Arbors Independent Living Community. We like everything, it's very clean and the person that runs it is very caring. You can tell that she cares about all her patients that are there. It's in a good location, it's very safe, you've got to have your own code to get in, and she has her own key to her room. They cook them three meals a day, they have a church there, they have activities for them to participate in, and they have a beauty shop inside the premises, which is good."

"We moved my mother in Perry County since early March, and my aunt has been there for almost a year now. I was impressed with how clean it was. There were no groupings of patients waiting to go back to their rooms. The number of staff to clients was very high. There were always two aides or nurses around on the floors at any one time, so if something needed to be done, it was done right away. My mom is in the memory wing along with my aunt, and there are four staff members constantly there. They are just so courteous to the patients. It's amazing. I just couldn't get over how kind and gentle they are, and they really took each patient as their own. The food is wonderful. My mom was down to 80 pounds; she is now up to 107, which is wonderful. The food looked very good and had a wide variety. My sister and I were able to have lunch with her one day, and we had a seafood gumbo; it was delicious. I was really impressed with that. They encourage the patients to go outside when the weather permits to get some sun. The grounds are just immaculately kept. It is gated. There are lots of walking trails. Each window for each room has a feeder -- either a bird feeder or a squirrel feeder. There is a large screen TV in the main lounge area. They have activities constantly going on. The cost was unbelievable. The rooms are mostly two bedrooms with two beds in them and a shared bath with adjoining rooms. At any one time, there could possibly be four people using the one bathroom. They each have their own closet and dresser, and the rooms are not too big, but they are comfortable. It gets a little tight if both patients in the room have wheelchairs. In the wing that my mom is in, there are not that many patients. "

"I live in Hot Springs Village, so I am aware of Good Samaritan Society. I have many friends there. They have studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments. The food was very good, and the dining room was very nice. I know that they lock the building, and you probably have to have a card or a password to get in. I think it was fine just the way it is. "

"My father-in-law is in Brookridge Cove Rehab & Care. I think it is a good facility. It seems like the people are very happy with the staff. They seem to take good care of them. He is pretty happy there. The only problem that we have is that it is about 30 minutes from us. He is VA, and there are only 2 facilities that are close that will take VA benefits. If you don't need 24/7 care, you can stay in a more of a private room. If you are worse, then you have to stay where it is coded, and the rooms are kind of small, but they seem to be fine. They have different activities for them during the day, so they don't spend too much time in their room. He seems to like the food really well, and he seems really happy with it. It is always clean. They have some areas where they can go outside, and if you don't have to be monitored 24/7, you can come and go in different places. The have a good staff. They are very kind, very helpful, and very understanding, and I am happy with the staff. "

"My mother has family that works there at River Chase, so they're checking up on her, and it's good for her. She qualifies for their Medicare and Medicaid. They seem all nice and welcoming. She shares a room with another lady and they share a bathroom. They have good food. She has to maintain a certain diet because she is diabetic. It's not perfect, but it works out for her. She is able to be accommodated there with everything that she needs except for sometimes they don't have transportation and we have to send her money still because they're taking all of her Social Security. "
