"I was very impressed with this facility, the facility was very nice and clean. And the reason I had to go to this facility was because my grandmother lived there. This was my grandmother first time being a part of a facility, I can definitely state entire stay all the staff members made her feel very welcome. Next, her room was really clean, nice and pleasant. The staff members stopped by many times just to make sure she was safe or to check to see if she needed anything. The first day of being in the facility my grandmother meet friends and she was so excited. The breakfast, lunch and dinner my grandmother described the taste as delicious. Her favorite meal that she really enjoyed to eat was fish, this was either served during lunch or dinner. Also, throughout the day and night their always snacks available. The facility had so many activities on a daily basis. There were times that I would call my grandmother to see what she is doing for the day before I go visit her, she would always tell me we are going here today, having a concert, playing bingo, and much more. Therefore my grandmother was always busy and very happy. She was so happy that she would tell us that we didn't have to come visit her. Another nice thing about the facility is there is a nice patio area to sit outside. This is really nice for when the weather is nice or the beginning of fall because you can sit out with a light jacket and look at nature. Last but not least, this is a great facility! "

"We have selected the Manor Benton. They had an opening and no wait list. The room has a big walk-in closet, the bathroom is near the bedroom, and the living room and the kitchen are separate from the bedroom. The layout is great and nice. The food is good; Mom and Dad like it, and Dad is kind of picky. They have theater and outings to the senior center in Bryant, go shopping at the local Wal-mart, play bingo, and have a hairdresser that comes in who will do the ladies’ hair and haircuts for the guys. It has a lot of stuff to offer residents."

"My dad went to rehab at Amberwood. It was a nice facility as far as look, but I do not care for the people there. I felt like the communication between the employees and the family was very lacking. My dad was in rehab, and they were supposed to have a meeting with the family every two weeks to update us on how well he was doing. They did not set up those meetings. I think I went to one meeting, and he was there three months. Then the biggest issue I had was whenever they said he had progressed to the most he could progress in his rehab, they gave me very, very short notice. I know that your insurance will stop at a certain point too. They tell me on a Friday that he needed to be checked out, and he needed 24-hour care. He lives alone, so when am I going to get that before Monday. In the rehab wing, the rooms are very nice. They are big and you have a room by yourself. They have a nice television, a couch, and a closet for your belongings. Their rooms were very, very nice. The facility was beautiful. My dad did not go very much to the dining area because he was in the rehab area. He had an injury, so he pretty much stayed in his room. They did bring him the food to his room. They have like a big dining area that the nursing home people will go into. They have a very nice gym area for people that were there for rehab (like a rehabilitation area) with all kinds of exercise mats and equipment. They definitely have the nicest one. This was my third one, and they had the nicest facility as far as rehab. He couldn't do a whole lot because he was kind of sick in bed because of his injury, but they had lots of activities. I saw them playing games. They had lots of church services, where a pastor would come on the weekends. They had a beauty salon and a hair place where men get their haircut too. They had a movie night as well. They had one person that was specifically there for activities. They had a good library for people who wanted to read. I tried to put him in assisted living after he left there, and when they called Amberwood they said some ugly things about him. They said he was making comments to some of the nurses. A couple of the other places turned me down because they said they cannot take him in. They made it sound like he was an abuser or a sexual pervert, and that was not true. My dad was a retired policeman. I did have a problem when they were constantly trying to get him to give up his room several times and move over to the nursing home area. I was against that because in the nursing home area you have to share a room. You don't have a room of your own, and you share a room with somebody when you're going to Medicaid or whatever. He was in a lot of pain, and I felt like he needed to be on the rehab part because that was where the gym was. Actually when we first got there, they thought he was going to need nursing home care. They were going to put him in a nursing home, but the hospital had set him up for rehab because they thought he wasn't going to get good enough. Other than that, they are good. They started their day and got out early and did their rehab early."

"My mom is living in the Four Seasons. The facility is very well taken care of, it's clean, and it's organized. The staff is very caring and very friendly. I live in another state so when I call them to see how my mom's doing, they're very cooperative and friendly. They have bingo, the facility has a circular indoor setup where they can walk around in, and they have vehicles to take them places, they take them shopping ort o an activity. Then they have a main lobby where there's a TV and furniture, and they can sit in there and watch TV or talk, which my mom likes to do with the other residents and staff. They've got very good food, very tasty."

"The rooms are smaller, but always clean, the staff are friendly, attentive and responded to my friend's needs w/in a reasonable amount of time, and there were always activities available for all the residents to participate in (if they so desired). There are different options available such as private rooms, a large dining area and a smaller dining area but my friend likes to eat in his room because the larger dining area can get a little noisy, the food is better than hospital food and they serve a variety of entrees. The occasionally have outings for the residents to go out to pizza restaurants together (if they are not restricted due to health concerns). My friend has been living here for 4 (+) years and says he wouldn't want to transfer to any other facilities because he has formed personal bonds with staff, enjoys the company of his fellow residents and is quite content with this facility. "

"Stagecoach is beautiful, and when you walk in, there's a waiting/sitting area and a huge nurse's station. The people that work there will come up and say your name, shake your hand, and talk to you, and the people staying there will come up and talk to you also. I thought that my aunt might be going there, but they called and said that her health issue that's going on with her is not suitable for them. I really like them. The administrator I talked to was really nice. He showed us a room with exercise machines, and there's a class for people who like to knit. They had an activity room for people that like to play cards, games, etc., and a bus to go to malls and doctor's appointments. They also have a nurse that comes and picks them up for doctor's appointments, stays there with them until they're done, and brings them back. "

"Malvern Nursing & Rehab is a very clean and friendly environment. They have recently built a new building and are now called Encore. The residents are in love with their new home and are excited to be here. Staff is incredible! My family member loves it here. It doesn't look or feel like a nursing home. "

"Courtyard Cottages was a great place to live, they’re friendly people, and it’s like a little community. I was there for 2 years. Kathy was a really sweet lady and helpful. They had a nice kitchen setup with a full stove, full refrigerator, washer and dryer, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a big living area. They also had an exercise room, and a room they could have parties."

"My uncle is already in an assisted living at Trinity Village. It was recommended by a doctor. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They are very good. My uncle is a diabetic and he has to have his medications given to him and he has a lot of physical therapy he is going through, so they are just there for everything. They help him out in a lot of different ways. He has been there for six weeks now. Their rooms and apartments are just the right size. They are convenient, not too big and not too small. Regarding food, my uncle seems to like it. The only thing he complains about is that there is not enough food. They have three good meals a day. They have a nice clean dining room. As far as activities, they have birthday parties for the residents. This afternoon, they had an Elvis impersonator who came in and he did some singing. They have swimming pool for swimming and a hot tub. Trinity Village is a nice safe place. "

"My mother-in-law moved into Arbor Oaks, and it's been very good. It's very professional, it's very clean, and the staff is very caring. We've had other family members there, and it's the staff that really makes the place. It's an older place, but it's well maintained. It was built in the sixties. They have an activity board. They have a morning and an afternoon activity at least five days a week, and they have something on the weekends. They've been keeping my mother-in-law busy, and it's a really good fit for her."

"The facility was very nice. They had lots of space in the foyer for the residents to sit and look outside, as well as a nice covered porch area for those who were able to sit outside and spend time with their loved ones when they came to visit. The recreation area was large and spacious and offered many fun events for the residents able to participate such as bingo, cards, and church services. The residents rooms were large enough for two residents to live comfortably together and have room to truly live, not just exist. They had plenty of private space in each room for each resident. They also had a wing at the facility that was perfect for my grandmother and other patients with mind debilitating diseases that had the outside doors constantly locked electronically so that they couldn't wander out of the building without supervision. The staff was friendly and loved the residents. Overall, just a wonderful place to have someone you love that needs assistance. "

"The facility is very nice. There is a lot of room for interaction both for the residents among themselves and with family members that come to visit. The staff is very friendly and cares deeply for the residents there. It is a very welcoming environment. At times, the facility isn't as clean in places as I would like with a family member living there, however, mostly it is more than acceptable. The residents there seem to be happy and well taken care of. They receive a good amount of one on one care from individuals who are devoted to good health and quality of life for our family members."
