I am writing this review regarding my experience with Tanner Manor Apartments and Pro Residential Management, Inc. I was a tenant at Tanner Manor Apartments in Phoenix, Arizona. During my fixed-term lease, I received notice that my rent would be increased before the lease term ended. That notice also stated that tenants who did not accept the increase could provide notice and move out. I followed that notice, gave proper written notice, and moved out. After move-out, I received disposition/accounting statements showing that a refund was owed to me after deductions. I was concerned about the charges, including a $400 painting charge that appeared to be treated as a fixed or automatic charge rather than a charge based on documented damage. Then, about a month later, the accounting changed and additional charges were added, including lease-break fees. This was especially concerning because I had moved out after receiving their rent increase notice that allowed tenants to vacate if they did not accept the increase. I attempted to resolve the matter, but ultimately had to file in small claims court. Pro Residential Management/Tanner Manor did not appear for the court hearing, and judgment was entered in my favor. In my opinion, changing account statements after move-out, adding major charges later, and failing to appear in court was unprofessional and unacceptable. Tenants should be able to rely on their lease, written notices, and final accounting statements. I strongly caution future tenants to keep copies of every lease, notice, ledger, email, disposition letter, and screenshot. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Tanner Manor Apartments or Pro Residential Management, Inc.

I had a bad experience with Tanner Manor Apartments. It was terrible. They didn't get anything done. They kept telling you to wait. The room was put together. It was all right and spacy. But it was hard to get windows open, and there was a lot of moisture in there. They had a community room with a pool table. Once in a while, people were coming in to play bingo, and a lot of people didn't attend.
