I toured Keen Eye Assisted Living Inc.. I didn't like the location. What I did like though was the lady who was very nice. She was informative about assisted living care, and she knew the area and what services were available. She was welcoming, too. We went into the possible room that my mom would be staying in. It's a basic bedroom. You have accommodation to a medical bed. They had equipment there if needed. The staff I met was very nice, very informative, welcoming, and understanding of the situation. The place looked OK. It looked clean.

My mother is now living in Keen Eye Assisted Living Inc. I chose them mainly because I feel like the people there can take care of her, and they said those people are like families. She had a nice bedroom that was carpeted, and it has a recliner, a twin bed, and a nightstand. It looks comfortable, I'm just worried that it's a little bit on the chilly side. I told them my mom loves to look at catalogs because we were in a bush area, and then they told me the other day that she likes coloring, so I was glad to hear that. The living room seems to be comfortable, she likes sitting in their recliner. I saw the kitchen, which is kind of an open area, and she wasn't too far from the bathroom. There was so much snow on the first day, they gave us a front-wheel drive vehicle, and we got stuck in the parking lot of the hotel. So we had to wait until the next day to get another vehicle. The upkeep and cleanliness of the community were very nice.
