"This place was terrible. My grandmother was an alzheimers patient, so she didn't understand how bad it was. The air conditioner in her room was broken most of the time, her mini-fridge (stocked with Boost) was often raided by the nursing staff, and theft was a huge problem. She often had her jewelry and clothing stolen or 'misplaced' as the staff put it. "

"My uncle was at Bedford Care Center Of Marion for a week. It was an older facility, but it was clean. It was a very nice place, and the people were extremely helpful. I didn't have any complaints during the time that he was there. They took very good care of him and cleaned him up well. They were attentive to his needs, bathed him, and helped him eat. So, we were pleased with them."

"My mom stayed in Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home. I liked it, they cared for her there. They're very caring about her needs. The staff was amazing, they're very good. It was clean. It was very well taken care of there. I was very satisfied with them. The staff was very concerned with my mom, they'll call me and tell me how she's doing, and when her medications change, they'll send me a form."

"My mother-in-law is at North Pointe Health & Rehabilitation. They're wonderful. She was in the Alzheimer's unit for about two years. Nothing that North Pointe did wrong, but she was not wanting to get into the social activities and stuff like that, so they moved her to the long-term care part. She's very shy and she never really understood that's where she was going to be from now on. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. It's a beautiful facility to start with. You walk in and you feel like you're at the Hilton Garden Inn, not what you typically use to think of as a nursing home. Everybody there is just so caring. They're so good about calling us, "We want to tell you this happened" or "This is what she's saying." The food is delicious. They make sure that they have food and snacks throughout the day. They take excellent care of their residents and they've been so helpful to us. It's a very difficult decision to place her anyway, and they have been helping us navigate the emotional upheaval that you feel when you have to make that decision. The staff is super nice. They go out of their way to help us and to help her. At the same time, they're realistic. They understand someone with Alzheimer's disease and what their situation is. I have nothing but praises for the staff. They're all wonderful. They treat them with respect, but at the same time, they're doing everything they can to do what's best for them. I haven't eaten a lot of meals with her, but what I have eaten and what they served to us when they had a thing going on was all good. It's ridiculously expensive, but it has nothing to do with them, it's just crazy how much nursing homes costs. In searching to get information recently for my mom, they're the most expensive, but they also offer so much more than some of the others. They have staff doctors, so you don't have to deal with taking her out and taking her to the doctor. We love our doctor, but taking her out of a facility would not be possible at this point. It's a gorgeous facility."
