We engaged this organization to conduct a competency review of our mother, in preparation for a court hearing. The report we received was sloppy, poorly written and came to us unsigned. A second assessment was requested by our attorney. The nurse (Carol) did say it was going to take time but failed provide an estimate. We were shocked to be billed for an additional three hours to fill out a simple State form. It is incomprehensible that a professional could not complete the form in less than an hour. In addition, the information conveyed in the form lacked medical detail and it essentially was a rehash of my personal conversation with the evaluator. Obviously we are not happy with the service provided by this provider and would not consider using or recommending.

Simply put, the results this service provides don't warrant the cost. I had to make multiple requests for simple services. Medical situations that should have been resolved expeditiously were never resolved.

Ann O'Neil and CareOptions have provided excellent sadvice and ervice to my family members, to people for whom I have acted as Guardians, and to others whom I have referred to CareOptions. They've done fine work in backstopping the staff at assisted living and nursing homes and serving as a "second pair of eyes." CareOptions is able to provide support people with skills ranging from MSN/NPs to basic "companions and sitters" and personal shoppers, at proper prices for each skill. As with any such service, not all available caregivers are going to be just right for your needs, but CareOptions' staff and contacts are numerous enough so that you should be able to find ones who "fit." Pricing is competitive. Highly recommended: I continue to employ CareOptions myself.
