This facility is a hospice center, with only a few rooms for patients who need round the clock care. The nurses who care for the patients are not only there to attend to the patient's physical needs, but are friends who will go the extra mile to make the patient smile. One example, a nurse took one of the patients out to see a concert at a local park. This was something that the patient had never dreamed she would do again. Once the patient had been made comfortable enough with their medications, the nurse made the arrangements for the two to leave the facility and enjoy the concert. Extra effort such as this makes this facility a five star facility.Families also report being made to feel more at ease during the difficult period. Nurses will help with grocery shopping, and other services such as counseling to help the other family members. Again, these extra added touches help make center a premier place for your loved ones.
