After interviewing several agencies, we selected Private Home Care because they seemed most in touch with what we wanted for my father and because they listened to and shared our goals. After several falls and a long hospitalization, my father couldn't be left alone at all. He required 24 hour care. We were reluctant to move him to an assisted living community because he was resistant and because we felt that his decline- already quick and shocking- could be exacerbated by a move. Private Home Care's caregivers and staff have been through it all with our family and my dad as he quickly adjusted to his new normal. They kept him safe in his home-his and our main goal-and that was no small feat! Our family will be forever grateful to the people that have entered my father's home and have become an integral part of his life. In these times of isolation, the caregivers not only keep my father safe, but also provide friendship and attention. They allow him to remain as independent as possible and to continue to thrive. Private Home Care also helped put us all at peace and have made this journey as smooth as possible for everyone. Our family has been with Private Home Care for almost 5 years.

After a year and a half, she moved out of state and the agency immediately had a plan and options to replace her while she was still working with mom. Since then my mom has 24 hour care and now, especially with COVID, our family is at peace knowing she is in her home with people that we have gotten to know over the years. I am impressed by how everything is handled by management and most of all we are happy with our caregivers. The management is easy to contact, provides staff quickly, addresses all requests quickly, has made great efforts in dealing with our insurance, addresses all our requests for care, and shows flexibility in scheduling. The employees of this company really like the management as well. The employees arrive on time and stay until the next shift, have excellent caregiving skills, excellent social skills, and show considerable initiative in seeing what needs to be done and doing it. The charges are fair.
