"I have Home Matters PIttsburgh, PA aide coming in for my father. It's more custodial care. We essentially have a chaperone for home safety. They are also able to coordinate with a driver. The aide went with him to get his hair cut. They're also doing light housework, of sweeping, doing the dishes, or making the bed. We have one caregiver, who is the primary caregiver, and my dad enjoys his company. Their management is always in contact if the caregiver were to call off or be late, so they are prompt with communication."

"Guardian Home and Community Services Inc is very good. It started here about a couple of weeks ago and it has worked well so far. The coordinator came right out and spent a lot of time with mom and dad. She was very professional and excellent. She listened to what we were looking for and she came up with an individual that really seemed to match mom and dad very well. The lady that comes everyday is very good at what she does, very congenial, and very easy going. When we hired them, I said just spending time with mom and dad to me is just as important as fixing their lunch, doing their laundry, and making their beds so she’ll sit down and talk to them part of the time. She is very professional, very thorough, very kind, and has a very upbeat attitude. Our goal is that this lady would become a friend of mom and dad’s, not just a client, but somebody that genuinely does have interest in them personally. They provide everything except medical. They’ll do laundry; they’ll do meals. They’ll run errands or do grocery shopping if mom and dad want to go. "

"My wife was cared for at home before she passed. We had help from Next Evolution Health Care. They were great, and I would recommend them. They were very helpful and considerate. They send somebody here whenever I requested it and they worked with me. We were with them for about 3 or 4 weeks. They provided care services, like help with bathing, eating and companionship. They were here several days a week for five hours a day. There were a couple of different caregivers who worked with my wife, and they all seemed very competent and helpful. We haven't concluded the billing yet, but I don't foresee any problem based on our discussions. They've met with me before to set everything up and I think they were very clear about their procedures. I have a binder that they provided me with regards to what they were doing, when they are doing them, and how often. I thought they were very clear and organized. As far as I am concerned, they completed everything, and they were competent."

"Harmony Home Care's service was excellent. I only used them for a couple of weeks. They were very dependable. They came in when they said they would and upfront when I was scheduling it. They did everything they could to accommodate the hours that I needed. It was difficult at that time and still was, with COVID to get more and people so they did the best they could. I checked with other agencies and they were the team that could provide what I needed. The service they provided was senior helper so they were non-medical. It was cooking, cleaning and laundry. If I had needed to be transported to a medical facility, they could also have done that. It was just one lady and she was very nice, friendly, and willing to do whatever I asked her. The billing was good too. Based on what you thought you would need, you had to put money upfront. At the end of every week or two, you are billed, but then you get that money back at the end, and that all happened just like they said it would. The only thing is that I know every agency has its own rules, but ideally, it would have been good for me to have somebody come in a couple of times a day just at mealtimes. Like toward the end when I was more mobile, but we couldn't do that with them. You have to have, I think, a minimum of 3 hours and they have to be consecutive. That's just their rule and I'm sure they had good reasons for it."

History of BAYADA Home Health Care Helping people has been - and will always be - our singular purpose. It is the driving force behind The BAYADA Way, our company philosophy, and the heart of everything we do. The origins of BAYADA Home Health Care date back to 1975, when J. Mark Baiada opened his first office in Philadelphia, PA, with a vision that everyone should be entitled to a safe home life, with comfort, independence, and dignity. Mark always felt a higher sense of purpose toward his clients, and he believed that when you entered someone's home, you entered their lives. Finding like-minded professionals with the same sense of purpose and passion for helping others has been the foundation of our work and the more Mark found, the more the company grew. Four decades later, BAYADA has grown from those humble beginnings to become a national leader in the home care industry, with more than 300 service offices in 21 states and India. Today, BAYADA provides the highest quality care in the home to children and adults of all ages, spanning every level of care—from complex, high-tech care to just being there. Every day in every home, that care is delivered with compassion, excellence, and reliability – our BAYADA core values Accreditation BAYADA Home Health Care voluntarily seeks accreditation from leading independent accrediting agencies. It’s one tangible way we demonstrate our commitment to providing home health care services to clients with the highest professional, ethical, and safety standards. Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP) CHAP, the leading accrediting organization for the home health care industry, has publicly certified BAYADA as voluntarily achieving the highest standards of excellence for home-based health care. BAYADA achieved accreditation by demonstrating compliance with CHAP national standards of excellence in the provision of care services. The rigorous CHAP accreditation process involves a thorough examination of the business and service aspects of the entire BAYADA Home Health Care organization — including office and client visits — in order to evaluate service quality, structural strength, organizational effectiveness, and human and financial resources. Our Pittsburgh area office located in North Versailles specializes in adult assistive care services, however, Private Duty Nursing, Pediatrics and Habilitation services are available through our nearby sister offices. BAYADA Pittsburgh works closely with our local ALS, MS and MDA programs, participating in fund raising events and community walks, as well as drives for local homeless and shelter organizations.
