"I have an aide that comes once a week from Home Instead. I've been using them for six years now, once a week. What I like about their service is that I don't have to tell the caregiver what to do by now because she already knows what I need done. She goes about doing it and she's very helpful. She's always asked me if there's anything extra I need or anything I need done because I just went through four surgeries. She helped me a lot recuperating from that because there's a lot of things I couldn't do in my apartment. She came and did it for me. There are certain things I want to do or get and I can't reach or I can't get to, she takes care of it for me. She helps with my pet care. She helps with my care. When I was recuperating from those surgeries, I couldn't do any bending over or reaching for things and that was a big help because she would come in and she would put everything within my reach. She is very prompt. She is here at exactly 9:00 in the morning, every Friday. She shows up ready to work. She's the best aide that I've had in my life so far. Pam is all about her job. If I need schedule adjustments or if they have schedule adjustments, they always communicate with me and let me know. They match me up very good with the caregiver. I've had two permanent caregivers so far and both were good. One I think is no longer with the company, but the one I have now is awesome. I get housekeeping.
