"I got a referral from a friend for ComForCare last fall when my father broke his leg and needed help. Samantha, Ken, and Rey were all fantastic. Ken performed a home safety analysis and recommended specific devices to make the house safer and more comfortable for my parents. He also had a lot of practical advice. Samantha and Rey were also involved in the onboarding, scheduling, setting expectations (for care givers and my parents) and monitoring the situation. ComForCare provided caregivers seven days a week, two shifts (3 hours in am, 2 hours in pm). They prepared meals, shopped for groceries, took my parents to medical appointments, interacted with them and they all became friends. The caregivers were punctual and polite. I had a lot of interaction with two of the caregivers who were both fantastic. The agency quickly and professionally responded to any of my questions or concerns. I inadvertently had to throw several curve balls their way as my parents situation/abilities changed. ComForCare Stanton came through each time with flying colors. I'm not sure how I would have managed without them as I live out of state and work full time. My father recently passed away and my move moved into assisted living or we would still be working with the ComForCare Stanton team."

"BrightStar Care East Lansing offers home services like housekeeping and companionship. We had quite a few caregivers. My mom was very difficult so they didn't last very long. They were very friendly and for the most part on time. The scheduling was OK. I suggest they match up the type of care to the person that needs the care. They didn't do a very good job at that."

"My parents were both in their 90s, and the last few years have been challenging for them. They have multiple medical conditions, and it has become increasingly difficult for them to manage their daily activities. We were fortunate to find Lisa, who has been a wonderful aide to my parents. She is more than just a worker; she is part of our lives and family. Lisa has been a tremendous help, and I can't imagine what we would do without her. She is always on time, reliable, and efficient. But more importantly, she is kind and compassionate and treats my parents with dignity and respect. She is a wonderful person, and I am so grateful that she is part of our family."

"I'm using Wind Beneath Your Wings. They match the needs that I have with the caregiver taking into account the personality of my spouse and who they think would work well with him. They're very accessible. When I have a problem or a question, I can get a hold of somebody right away. They listen and respond as much as they're able. I needed somebody with a particular schedule, and since it's a small agency, I had to wait until they hired somebody who could meet that need. But since I'm flexible a lot, it didn't present a problem for me. Wind Beneath Your Wings helps me with light housekeeping, preparing meals, and exercising with my husband if he's willing. My husband needed to go get a haircut, and my caregiver took him to the barber. Regarding billing, they send the invoice for the month following care, and then I either send a check or something to pay it. I have long-term care insurance, so they reimburse me. I have been using them for three years now. Overall, I like the caregivers they send."

Their team of trained and skilled health care professionals provides their clients with assistance with personal care, dressing, undressing, bathing, meal preparation, transportation services for various appointments laundry and housekeeping services as well. They offer their clients various levels of supportive services and assistance that is tailor fitted to meet their clients' individual plans of care. They offer their clients respite care, short term care, long term care and 24/7 care to fit into their clients' individual schedules as needed. They offer their clients hospice care also in addition to the provide ambulation, and transferring of their patients from the bed to the wheelchair, toileting, incontinent care, and various other levels of care that is needed for your loved ones individual needs. In general, I would have to rank Preferred Home Care of Lansing on a five stars rating for their excellence and expertise in patient care providers. "
