"My mother who has Alzheimer has been attending an Adult Day Center since 2009 and I am so grateful every day that they have this type of service so that I can keep her home with me and continue working until I retire. It is comforting to know she is getting the care and healthy foods while I'm not able to be with her. My mother started attending Sugarloaf Adult Day, February 2009 and then changed over to a new owner February 2012, which is now called Elite. Even though I was concerned about the change I find the staff to be very friendly and open to suggestions. They have even suggested that if enough people were interested they would open on a Saturday to give us time do do necessary work at home. Although I can't afford this service I am hoping sometime down the road I can so I can also have some one on one with my teenage daughter who sometimes feels left out. I wish more Day Centers would open up because it is very sad when families need to place their parents in a nursing home due to lack of services near them. I travel an hour and half every morning to get my mother to the center and then go to work. "

The people who work for At Home TLC are angels and I know from dealing with aides at home health agencies in western NY that they are truly professional and reliable---I don't want to suggest there aren't many like At Home TLC, but unfortunately, this high caliber of service and integrity is not always available to families. As I said, the minute I realized I was NOT thinking about my mother or worrying about my father, I KNEW that TLC was the key to our family's sanity in the midst of serious, debilitating chronic illness. Recently, TLC has introduced us to a social worker also who has offered invaluable strength and counsel to help family members cope with changing landscape in my parents' home. I am indebted to them all. "

Two individuals I asked for are everything my wife needed. they are punctual, interact well with my wife and I have no reservations about leaving my wife in there care while I leave to do other necessary things. "We hired Homewatch CareGivers of Springfield. So far, so good. We haven't had any issues. They've been able to help my parents out with a variety of different things. We're on our 3rd month with them right now. The billing is pretty simplistic. They send it to me, I get the bills directly, and I pay the bills for my parents. I can either pay it online or I pay by check. It doesn't make a difference how. The only thing about scheduling is that they're having personal issues and they don't have enough people. That's the only thing. I guess all health care providers right now are having issues with having staff. It's an ongoing thing with a bunch of other agencies too that I've reached into. They don't always have people who want to be there to do people's homes. Their staff does some light cleaning, grocery shopping, and laundry. They also help my mom with showers, pick up medicines, and take my mom to appointments."
