"We used hospice care from HealthPartners Cancer Center at Regions Hospital for my husband. They just carried me through it. I had bought some pretty expensive beds to put in the living room. They bathed him a couple of times. He only lived nine days after getting home. They were here every day, and they just. They just took all my information, so I only had to call them when days passed. I didn't have to make a bunch of phone calls. It just made things so easy for me. Most of all, everyone was so kind. I was shocked at how wonderful they were."

"Lakeview Hospice and its "care team" were amazing when we put our father in "home hospice". They were available any time we needed them, showed great compassion to my sister and I as we cared for our father in his last days. Everyone was truly amazing in their dedication to easing the pain of losing our father. They were thoughtful, kind, caring and were willing to spend time with us when we just needed someone to talk to. Lakeview Hospice is a truly caring place/organization and they provided us with so much comfort. I would put any of my loved ones in their capable hands. "

"My husband was in Christian Community Homes and Services for two weeks. It was a very nice place. He was in the hospice room, which was very, very nice and he was well cared for. He did not eat the whole time he was there. The staff was wonderful to him and hospice was excellent. It was always very clean. His room had everything that he needed and we could just help ourselves to whatever we needed for him. It was well supplied and the bathroom was very nice and clean. There were always nice clean towels in there. He was there during COVID, so he couldn't have any massage or anything come in. He didn't have any amenities while he was there other than they bathed him every day and took care of him. They have a couple of nice courtyards and we can utilize those. The first room that he was in was very small, but he was only there for five hours because they were cleaning the hospice room for him. He had to share a bathroom in that first room, which I know he would have never liked, but it was clean. The staff was excellent."

"My father moved into Our Lady of Peace Home Care. I was very happy to find this location. My father received very good care. I am very pleased with the place. It's a beautiful location. It was started by nuns. I believe that their philosophy is still carried out here. Everyone that I've run into in the facility has always been very kind. They're very attentive. They do services for my dad, like his bath and everything. I feel that it is a very good place for his last days. He is in a private room. The room is very large, with nice chairs. They have one chair where, if a family member wants to stay overnight, it becomes a pull-out sort of bed. We have that opportunity if we'd like to stay overnight with him. They have a beautiful garden. The facility is beautiful. The whole yard is beautiful. They have nice conference rooms and rooms for families. They've done everything that my dad needs. When he first came in, he was on regular food. It was very good, and he liked that. But as time has gone on, he doesn't eat very much, so all of his food is pureed. Even that seems to be okay for him. The facility has a beautiful layout. All of the rooms that I've seen have been immaculate. It's very clean. They're spacious. My dad gets a massage. My dad is a veteran, and he's still on waiver for part of it, but they received donations. So some of the things that you would ordinarily be charged for at other facilities, they don't charge you for."
