The caregiver that provided care to my mother was amazing. In that last week, after the service provided by the caregiver, my mother seemed to be at total peace. She died two days later in her home with me at her side holding her hand. I was with her when she took her last breath. It seemed appropriate that I was with her because she was with me when I took my first breath."

"Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care of California came in three times a week to bathe my son -- he couldn't get out of his hospital bed -- and when I told them that he was going to be released from the hospital the night before, they took care of each and everything that he needed; they just bent over backwards. I couldn't have done it without them. When he died, they were still there for me. I would recommend them to anybody; they were great. The only thing I was upset about was when I wanted some 24/7, they never had a volunteer come in here and take over, so I had to call my friend and assist whoever I can get because I couldn't even go to the doctors for myself. That was the only thing I had contention with. Other than that, they were just bending backwards for him and for me, and even afterwards. It was pretty positive, and I was happy with them. "

"I am very disappointed in the services that my mother received from Odyssey Hospice during her dying process. The staff at Odyssey new that she probably only had a week to live yet no one came by to see her that week as they indicated that they would we had one visit from the nurse but that was about it. I left a message for the nurse two days before she died so she could check her but she did not even show up until after she had passed away. We relied completely on the care of the nursing home and thankfully they did such a great job. "
