With over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse, Joanne has seen first hand the challenges families face in trying to manage the care of a loved one. Her professional work experience includes: acute care, long-term care, home care, and assisted living. In addition to formal work settings, she has faced the personal struggles created by a fragmented health care system in caring for her own relatives across the care continuum. Joanne's extensive geriatric experience and personal care of her own relatives inspired her to create Aging Care LLC. Her greatest satisfaction is obtained by upholding the rights and wishes of her clients, in the least restrictive setting ensuring their safety and highest level of function.
