Southern Care Hospice took care of both my Mom and my Husband. From the point of admission until each passed away they had excellent, well planned care. The nurses stayed in touch with me and let me know about suggestions to keep both of them comfortable during their last days. I recommend that if you or a family member should have this need talk to the staff at Southern Care Hospice. Since both passed away in May and June, 2017, the grief coordinator calls every so often to check on me. I have really appreciated their concern.

When my grandmother was still living, she was bed-ridden and unable to leave said bed at any time. We were forced to care for her 24 hours, 7 days a week. It was a grueling task, but we accepted it all with a smile because we did love her; and still do to this day. One day, an insurance agent enlightened us to hospice care, at-home hospice care. Well, we were pleasantly surprised, as I am sure you can guess. A hospice nurse visited our home several times a week to assist in cleaning my grandmother, making her comfortable, and just generally brightening her spirits. It was an uplifting experience.
