Oakridge seems unconcerned about the comfort they give their patients. The currently are under construction and make no place to visit available. They also whimsically move patients to a different room for the convenience of their construction goals. Don't misunderstand that a few of the care specialists seem to really care about the patients. Not all though and management appears unconcerned about how uncomfortable they make it for the current patients. About half the time the food is ok and about half the time it is disgusting. BTW there isn't anywhere to feed the patients while they continue construction either. This is a terrible place to put someone you care about.

My grandma recently passed away while being a resident of Oakridge Gardens Nursing Facility. She was only there for a short amount of time. In that time she was very weak and declining in health rapidly. The staff there was top notch. They were very helpful, and would take time out to answer any questions you had. They communicated very well her status and daily activities when no one (family) was there. They were very helpful with her and anything she needed. Being given meds, helping her eat, or just helping her get around or reposition her self in bed. The building was very clean, warm and welcoming with a nice lounge area. I also thought it was nice that the staff would offer visitors food items that were left over from time to time. Which was very good. All in all the few short months my grandmother was a resident at Oakridge Gardens was a very pleasant few months. I am sure my grandmother passed away happy and comfy. Never once did she complain about any of the staff, and let me tell you this, if she had any negative thoughts about them she would have voiced it!
