The facility has a dementia license however they are not equip to really care for them. You will need to move them at some point. If your loved one has dementia find a memory care facility to avoid moving your loved one too many times. Most staff were fine but the ones who aren't really bring this review to 3 stars. Rooms are fine typical size and layout for any assisted living.

Rock Cove was exceptionally good. The rooms and apartments were excellent. They're top of the line. Both the quality of care and the caregivers were excellent. But it's an assisted living facility and they cannot do what's necessary for somebody who's got severe dementia and needs a memory care unit. So in our case, my wife had to be moved because she got to stage of dementia that she needed a memory care unit to be safe and to be secured. But they're good facility.

My short visit at the Rock Cove Assisted Living Facility approximately three or four days ago was absolutely wonderful. The staff went above and beyond their duties in my opinion. They were all super friendly and ready to answer any question I had, on top of treating me like I was a friend to them. The food was amazing. The menu had foods on it that my great grandmother, who is diabetic, can eat on a daily basis without having to worry about it messing with her blood sugars. The cook was also nice enough to allow me to sample some of their food, and I can honestly say that the food they serve the residents there is great. After this visit I am very comfortable moving my great grandmother in there when she is ready. Great place for the elderly to go to when it is time to move them out of our homes and into a place where they will be cared for.
