Golden Valley AFH is located approximately 15 minutes to the east of downtown Olympia, Washington in the small suburb of Lacey. This community is just a few miles from I-5, local eateries and plenty of shopping options. Washington's capital, Olympia has multiple parks and conservation areas for seniors who enjoy being outdoors, and it's home to the Providence St. Peter Medical Center for seniors who require treatment for chronic conditions and for emergencies. Golden Valley is an adult family home that provides assistance with daily activities and memory care. This care home has four units and staff on call 24 hours a day to help with mobility needs, medication administration, meals, housekeeping, grooming, transportation and other basic needs. The professionally trained staff also accepts patients with behavioral issues. Residents within the community have access to both outdoor and indoor common areas. The outside grounds include a patio and garden which is ideal for seniors who enjoy getting sunshine. Indoor common areas are frequently used for crafts and games or simply to relax with visitors and other guests.
