I have lived at Traditions for 3 years and there is alot to like here. We have a great community director and supporting stuff who do a great job. Maintenance repairs are done quickly .We have some wonderful activities such as Bingo every week, Book Club twice a month, Dance Lessons two times a week. Dominoes are played also.Library 2 Go comes once a month, we have wonderful amenities, craft room, card room, computer room, Exercise room, A theatre ,a great lobby with fireplace, a great place to relax and watch the world go by and visit with friends and so much more. The apartments come with Washer and dryer, Microwave, dish washer. There is a dog park for your furry friends and parking garages and storage too.We hace security guards here at night who check all the floors and locks. This is a nice place to live and we are close to stores and food. Come and check us out.

You don't want to live here!! There are homeless people breaking into the building, residents that are letting them in. There's also a woman that lives and works here that has 2 attack dogs. I know of 2 dogs that have been bitten by her dogs. Management does nothing about these problems. There have even been cars stolen out of the garage. It's not safe here!!

I've lived at Traditions for almost 2 years. One of the reasons that I chose Traditions was the security. I love it here but it is getting more and more dangerous to live here. There is a resident that is letting homeless people and prostitutes into our building. Just today, there was a homeless man bathing in the dog bath area in one of our garages. Management is aware yet this resident is still here! They have him on camera letting people in or leaving a door open so they can come in. Yet, he is still here!!!

We had made an appointment with Traditions at Federal Way, but we didn't actually get to see the rooms there. We were able to walk around the general area. I think the issue was they didn't have any available rooms to show us, so that was a little disappointing. I was very impressed with the building. It was brand new and just really nice. I thought they had lovely amenities and common areas. The staff who toured us was not quite helpful. I felt like she wasn't terribly welcoming. The maintenance and upkeep were very nice. She didn't really show us anything. We kind of just walked around. There were just really nice sitting areas.

I have moved into Traditions at Federal Way. It's great. The people here are friendly. There's a lot of great amenities here. I definitely made quite a few friends very quickly. The office staff, the people that manage the apartments, the maintenance people, the cleaning people, and everything, they're all just really, really awesome people, and always willing to help with anything. There's a very lovely gym in the building, there's a movie theater, and there's a craft room where there are other residents that are willing to teach classes. There is a group down there right now, and there is a lady who is teaching them all how to crochet. There's bingo, there's little garden plots, and there's like a room with tables and a full kitchen that you can use if you have larger groups. There's also a family area that you can actually rent. For instance, if I had like a party of some kind where I had lots of family here, you can use that. There's a dog park, I don't have any animals, but it's pet friendly. My apartment is very, very nice. The kitchen is very roomy. I have a one-bedroom. I have a pretty good size room. The one thing that I was really impressed with was the kitchen because I cook. I've got a full-sized washer and dryer, and I've got ceiling fans in all the rooms. They kind of leave it up to the residents to send them ideas that they want for activities. Being that it's a fairly new place, that's kind of still in the works. They have monthly meetings with the management and the residents, which is nice. There's a gal that I just talked to that's trying to get together a little karaoke group.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My daughter's mother-in-law has just moved down in Traditions at Federal Way. It's a nice place and inexpensive. Two-bedroom for $1550, and I'm paying $1450 in my little apartment. They have all nice amenities. They have a movie theater, a game room, a library, a little snack area, a family area. That's nice. If you want to recommend it to other people, that's an ideal place to live. My daughter's mother-in-law is living there now. She just moved in last week. It's a nice place. People are nice, and the staff are nice. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. The units aren't too bad. For the price you pay, it's not bad because you get all the amenities, and they pay for everything except your light and your phone. I'm trying to talk to my husband to move to Federal Way; he just doesn't like it there. I didn't see a dining room; it's all individual apartments. It has a little snack bar for like pop and junk food and stuff like that. I don't think they have a dining room there; I think it's just independent living. The individual apartments are fantastic. The kitchen has a big wraparound bar. It's a brand new building, so it's all new appliances. There's plenty of space. It's all open concept. Right next to the kitchen is a little area where you can have a dinette table. Then you have the living room right next to it, which is big enough to have a couch and a love seat or a love seat and a recliner. Then you have the washer and dryer next to that, so it's not bad. The staff I met were very informative, very nice, and very polite. They answer your questions. They have a parking garage, which is available if they want it. It's secure because you have to have a pass card to get it, and you can't get him one, so it's very secure.

I love Traditions at Federal Way. It's brand new. It's clean. It's secure, and it would have been wonderful. The staff that accommodated me was very helpful, personable, and very welcoming. The room was new and clean, and it was just what I need. They had a fitness room, a card room, a board game room, and a library that was fully stocked. They had like a barbecue area outside. They had a theater, too. They've only been open for a year now, but it looked like they were taking care of everything.

I love the Traditions at Federal Way, but it's too far away. Federal Way is a long way from where I need to be. But that is a wonderful apartment complex; it's nice. It was great. It was new. I think it has only been there a year or two, so it's new. It's more of in the city, it's not residential, but the location is still fine. It's a good location. The distance was my issue. I think if I live anywhere close to Federal Way, that would be my choice because I liked it. I enjoyed working with the staff. They were very professional and very helpful. It was a great tour. They have everything; I don't think they've missed anything. They have a workout room, movie room, game room, kitchen and eating area, common eating area, and library. I don't think they've missed anything. I like it. If I work somewhere close to it, that would be the one, but I don't.

Traditions at Federal Way was a very nice place and I loved it. It's very nice and it's brand-new. I liked everything about it, the only thing I did not like was it's on the fifth floor so when I went out on the deck, I felt a little dizzy. There's also no landscape or anything to look at but otherwise, the place was wonderful. The staff who assisted me was very helpful. It was quiet, there were no people around that day. It seems like it was on a Thursday afternoon and I didn't see anybody. I remember them having a swimming pool. They had all kinds of activity rooms too and even had a room for your grandchildren so it was nice. The only thing they didn't have was a beauty shop.

Traditions at Federal Way was a brand new building. It was new, fresh, and modern. The salesman was a kind gentleman. I had a good conversation with him, gave me plenty of paperwork, reminded me of the questions I had, and gave me answers to any other future questions I may have. I was very pleased with him. We were looking at a one-bedroom, and they were small. It seemed to be priced accordingly. They had new carpet and fresh paint. It was a nice place to be.
