My parents are at The Reserve at Auburn. Their apartment is fine. The common rooms are gorgeous. The parking lot is really bad. There's very little parking and a lot of circling around and around looking for a spot. They had a Bible study and my mother participated in that. They had a crafting thing. As far as I know, that's all they did. They prepared their own meals. It's close to shopping. It seems friendly. I know the Metro does a shuttle there, but no shuttle from the building. I haven't interacted with the new staff. Maintenance and office staff changed a lot. The activities are provided by the residents. They don't have activities provided by the building. Value for money is pretty good.

The Reserve at Auburn was the one I liked. The only thing was they had long halls. Other than that, the apartments were very nice. They're 766 square feet. The bedrooms have walk-in closets and a washer-dryer. The bathroom was big, but the kitchen was very small. I also needed two bedrooms for my things, but I could live there. I was impressed with the activities. They had a swimming pool with a hot tub, activity rooms, and a room where they do yoga. They were all very clean. They had exit doors on one corner and it was across the street from a Fred Meyer shopping center. The other thing I liked about the place was they have parking on their property and they have a waitlist for carports. So, you're not out in the open where anyone else can park. I also liked the fact that the mailboxes were inside. So, no one can break into them. You need a card to get in, too, so I was pleased to see all the safety features they had, as well as the elevators in the building.
