I visited Affinity at Arlington. I like all the amenities that they had, and the parking was closed and everything else. I had seen that right after it was first built two years ago. I was going to move at that time, but I just had total shoulder replacement. They have a coffee room, a library, and a little movie theater. They show movies, and they have a reception place. They have a meet and greet once a month. At that time, they had a different director there, and she was really good. She took me around and she was very accommodating. At that time there was a lot of openings; I thought I would want to go in the middle of the month, and she said she would be accommodating and help me, like giving me a break on the rent. Since it was new, it could be as a promotion. There's no food. They don't have a dining program. If you want to have a big Christmas dinner with your family, they have a big room that has a big stove, refrigerator, and a table that probably seats at least 12. They have a couch, a TV, other stuff in there. It had a lot of flowers planted. The grounds were well kept and had good parking areas. They have garage areas. It was just very presentable when you first drive in there. They have a billiards area, a swimming pool, and a craft room. They have all the amenities.

Affinity at Arlington was a brand-new complex, it's large, and there were a lot of one- and two-bedrooms available. They had a pub and a coffee room, a theater, a library, a pool, an exercise room, an outside barbecue area, activity ground outside in the back courtyard, and they had a garden setup that's available. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. It's an independent living place, so there are no meals included.

I went down with my girlfriend to Affinity at Arlington. It was really great because it had a lot of amenities. I have only met them for the first time, but they seemed friendly and helpful. It was nice except this one place. It was a newly developed area. The unit itself would be facing another apartment building. The rooms were very, very nice. The place itself was very good and very clean. They had a pool, gym, arts and crafts room, they even had a bar area, card room, and a library.
