Compared to other nursing homes that I have been in Montvue is defiantly the worst. There is almost nothing for the residents to do other than sit in their wheel chairs in the hallway or in their rooms and rot. The place smells of urine and feces, so they obviously do not clean up their residents on a timely basis. Their food makes most public school lunches seem like five star cuisine. Some of the staff is friendly, but most do not even want to be there and treat the residents with disrespect. Most of the residents suffer from severe mobility issues or dementia, and it seems as though not much is being done to help these individuals. I have had multiple family members be submitted to this nursing home due it being cheaper than other alternatives in the area, but even though it may be the cheap they certainly do not provide a good enough service to even charge any kind of fee.
