My father-in-law is going to the assisted living facility of Oasis Senior Living - Hurricane. We toured, and that's the one he liked. He said it was small and not too overwhelming for him because he's blind. It has small buildings, so it's easy to find one's way around. I personally thought the apartments were small, but it was sufficient for him. The person who gave the tour was friendly, helpful, and kind. The dining area is comfortable, like a family setting.

My husband is in Beehive Homes of Hurricane. It's relatively new. It provides everything, all the meals, and they wash his clothes. There are only 14 people living there, so it's not crowded. It's a very nice place. The food is very good. The staff is very friendly, very helpful, and they know what they're doing. He has his own private room, which is a huge room. He has his own private bathroom, which is also huge. They have an enormous living room with recliner chairs and are very comfortable and very clean. There's no smell in the place. It's just very clean and they keep it that way. They're cleaning every day. He's not very active. They sit by him and talk to him.
