I visited a place called Rose Cove Apartments, it's all senior living, and it's in Farmington. It has a very nice elevator that lets you go upstairs, which is nice. It was beautiful. I wanted to go and stay there. The only reason I didn't is because I have family here and it's 55 miles away from my son. The staff was very nice. I asked them if they could hold the room for me for a month during my surgery, and they said they'd be more than happy to. I know these places want to rent out as soon as they possibly can but they were accommodating and couldn't have been any nicer. There were one or two-bedroom apartments, and they were all handicapped-accessible. Some had bathrooms with walk-in showers, which is important for some people. Some don't with just a tub and then a shower in there. They said they would accommodate you and try to work with you the best they can. They had a hot tub and a swimming pool, a gym, and a beauty salon on the premises. They have buildings A, B, and C, with covered and not covered parking. You could also walk out on a little patio outside the glass sliding doors. The place is very nice and clean, and the price is reasonable. I think the most expensive bedroom in the whole thing is $950. They have a nice kitchen and they provide treats during the day for the people. They also do a meal once a week or a community meal once a month, where they all get together. Other than that, they do not cook or prepare your meals. You have to prepare your own. The neighborhood is nice and clean, and you can walk around it.
