Rosewood Senior Villas

I'm staying in Rosewood Senior Villas for three years now. I like my neighbors, but I don't like the management. My apartment is really big and very lovely. The whole building was brand new when we moved in. We have lost power twice now in thirteen apartments. One time it was for over a week. You just don't lose power like that. The smoke alarms keep going off, and they can't find where they're from. There are no activities. Every once in a while, they'll have some nurses come and give a presentation, but as far as activities, we are on our own. We also prepare our own food. They have a beautiful pool. If people don't have their own washer and dryer, we have a laundromat. However, there's no bus or anything. If we want something done, we just do it ourselves. The facilities are lovely. We love the space in the room, but it is not fun living here. They put out a monthly calendar. Supposedly, they have a birthday party for that month, but nobody goes to it. If we have the same thing each time, it is just cupcakes; there's no party or decorations. There's nothing. They have one maintenance man, and he does everything. He's amazing. Looking at other apartments, this is a reasonable price. It is income-based. So, I'm paying less than others with the same-sized apartment. We have a piano down in the lobby, but nobody plays it. We have a musician who plays sax, and he's amazing. However, people complained about the noise that he makes.
