The lady who showed me around the Mansions at Moses Lake was friendly. The rooms were decent-sized and large enough. The amenities were nice. I liked the floor plan of it. Everything was fine until they decided they were going to go up on the rent. Once you get in there, the personality of the office staff seems to change. They didn't have time for you. Although the rent was going up, I was actually considering paying it to stay there because I liked the place and I really didn't want to have to pack up and move again, but then the office staff told me that they would send me the information and everything and I had a date picked out and I saw the apartment, but then when it was time to move, they never did come through with me signing the lease or giving me the keys or any of that. It was the day of the move, and I still hadn't heard from them, so I had to change plans, and that really left a bad taste. They don't offer food. It's independent living. You have to be 55 or up to live there. They didn't offer anything else. The dining area was large enough for whatever kind of function you wanted to have. They had a little kitchen off to the side, and that was about it. Whenever you would call to have a maintenance request done, sometimes you'd have to call several times over a period of a couple of weeks to get it done. Parking was OK, although I thought they needed a little more handicap parking.
